The title of this article is conjectural.

Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A civil war was waged in the Virgillia system between the Alliance to Restore the Republic-allied Virgillian Free Alignment and the Galactic Empire-backed Virgillia government.[1]

After both this conflict and the wider rebellion against the Emperor's end, the Virgillia system became a strong supporter for the Leia Organa's Resistance within the New Republic.[1]

The Virgillian civil war was first mentioned in canon in Star Wars: The Last Jedi: Incredible Cross-Sections.[1] Jason Fry has been interested in telling the story of the conflict.[2]
