Several months into the Iron Blockade, the Smuggler undertook a rescue mission to free key members of the Uprising from the Crypt, an Imperial prison where they had been taken following a failed attempt at kidnapping Commander Bragh. The Smuggler not only managed to free the imprisoned allies, but also defeated Bragh in the process.[1]
Behind the scenes
The rescue mission seemingly depicts the death of Bragh in Star Wars: Uprising, as the character is shot and then is only ever mentioned in past-tense in later levels.[1] However, the later comic Battle of Jakku — Last Stand 3 featured Bragh alive at the time of the Battle of Jakku..[3]

- ↑ The rescue mission to the Crypt is part of Chapter II of Star Wars: Uprising, set before the Battle of Jakku but after the liberation of Cloud City according to
Kabam (@KabamRPG) on Twitter (post): "Bespin has been liberated! Chapter 2 Story Missions are available to all eligible players! #starwarsuprising" (screenshot) (content now obsolete). Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary dates the liberation of Cloud City twenty-nine years before the Starkiller Incident. Star Wars: Timelines dates the Starkiller Incident to 34 ABY and the the Battle of Jakku to 5 ABY, meaning the liberation of Cloud City also corresponds to 5 ABY. As the rescue mission to the Crypt takes place between these events, it must take place in 5 ABY.
