In 4 BBY,[1] Kanan Jarrus and Garazeb Orrelios went on a mission to the Sienar Fleet Systems factory on Absanz to acquire intelligence regarding Sienar's bomb updates on their newest TIE prototypes.[2]
During their mission, Jarrus and Orrelios fought off stormtroopers and decided to kidnap Dron Ryall, one of Sienar's lead designers, believing he would be a more valuable asset than the data they came for. Hera Syndulla was skeptical, fearing the Empire would go to great lengths to retrieve the designer. Jarrus and Orrelios managed to get Ryall onto a Sentinel-class landing craft, but an Imperial cruiser cornered them and opened fire.[2]
Ryall convinced Orrelios to let him go, arguing that his capture would cost many lives due to the Empire's pursuit. Orrelios released Ryall, who fell safely onto a railing below. The two rebels then escaped the confrontation, having acquired Imperial intelligence despite losing a potential asset.[2]

Star Wars: Timelines dates the events of both to 4 BBY. "Relics of the Old Republic" also features the assault on Seelos, whereas "Always Two There Are" depicts the skirmish aboard a Republic medical station, thereby putting the mission to Absanz seen in "Secrets of Sienar" to occur between both.
