  • I think an IU year for the quote would be worth adding Lewisr (talk) 01:32, 10 September 2024 (UTC)
    • Added. - Thannus (DFaceG) (he/him) (talk) 17:17, 10 September 2024 (UTC)
Imp
  • The dating of Act I should be tied to the specific mission that mentions the water gun. Imperators II(Talk) 10:36, 19 October 2024 (UTC)

Comments

  • Just to confirm, is that line by Cozekk actually necessarily delivered canonically? Imperators II(Talk) 11:18, 10 September 2024 (UTC)
    • Double-checked and it is optional dialogue, so I've put the gamemechanics template on the page. - Thannus (DFaceG) (he/him) (talk) 17:17, 10 September 2024 (UTC)
      • But if the relevant mission is indeed completed the line is always delivered? Imperators II(Talk) 21:01, 10 September 2024 (UTC)
        • Nope, appears to be prompted by a specific line of dialogue for the player accepting the mission, but it isn't the sole exchange for accepting it. - Thannus (DFaceG) (he/him) (talk) 21:12, 10 September 2024 (UTC)
          • Okay, in that case both the quote and the part about Cozekk making the comparison should be moved to the BTS. (You could still incorporate the 3643 BBY date—which won't be as relevant to have in the BTS—in the body proper, however.) Imperators II(Talk) 06:38, 11 September 2024 (UTC)
            • As it is the sole (known) IU mention of water guns in Legends it makes the most sense to keep it in the body. However, like any other optional dialogue, I'm certainly willing to elaborate on the conditional nature of the dialogue in the BTS. I'll wait for your response before making any changes though, just to see if this works for you. - Thannus (DFaceG) (he/him) (talk) 18:52, 11 September 2024 (UTC)
              • This article is a perfect example of having information that we are treating as canonical despite having said information's only source, a quote, being presented in the BTS. I'm suggesting that you should follow this example here as well. Imperators II(Talk) 17:30, 12 September 2024 (UTC)
                • Went ahead and moved it, then. I'm trying to find out if the line of dialogue is available to both Jedi classes or a particular one; TORCommunity's documentation for the quest makes no indication either way but the dialogue itself indicates it's one of the Force-sensitive classes if not both. - Thannus (DFaceG) (he/him) (talk) 19:34, 12 September 2024 (UTC)
  • Don't know if it helps:
water blaster is mentioned (most likely as a toy) in Young Jedi Knights: Shadow Academy.
water cannon appears in Galaxy of Fear: The Doomsday Ship, Legacy of the Force: Sacrifice, and is mentioned in Beyond the Rim. —DKS MaXoO (talk) 12:54, 14 September 2024 (UTC)
    • I'll check both, thanks. - Thannus (DFaceG) (he/him) (talk) 15:17, 14 September 2024 (UTC)
    • Worth noting perhaps that the Canon Knights of Fate also mentions water cannons, and that real-life {{Wi|water cannon}}s are very different from water guns. Imperators II(Talk) 18:26, 14 September 2024 (UTC)
    • The LM-432 crab droid also carries a jet sprayer (sometimes called water jet sprayer), a sort of water cannon that sprays liquefied mud. —DKS MaXoO (talk) 20:01, 14 September 2024 (UTC)
