Velser's Ring was an asteroid field located in the Bespin system of the Anoat sector in the Outer Rim Territories. The belt separated the gas giant Bespin from its two sister worlds in the star system.[1] Lando Calrissian owned a cane with metal aeroxite tips mined from Velser's Ring.[5]
Behind the scenes
Velser's Ring was first mentioned in Galaxy Guide 2: Yavin and Bespin, a Star Wars Legends reference book written by Jonatha Ariadne Caspian and released in 1989. The belt was confirmed to be canon by the reference book Ultimate Star Wars, which was released in 2015.
