The Valashar system was a star system located in the Churnis sector of the Mid Rim Territories, situated in grid square I-7 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] The system contained the celestial body Valashar, which was home to a mining colony[2] by 34 ABY. That year,[3] the proprietors Flix and Orka, who operated the Office of Acquisitions on[2] the Mid Rim planet[4] Castilon's supertanker fuel depot Colossus, sold a phase connector mining device to the Valashar colony. The First Order operative Teroj Kee unsuccessfully attempted to steal the phase connector after being informed of the sale, and the merchandise was ultimately destroyed to prevent the thief from escaping offworld with the device.[2]
