Jedi battlemaster

Your additions to the Jedi battlemaster have been removed, as the content concerning Lucien Draay's status as a battlemaster are not yet established as Star Wars canon. Please do not add speculation to canonical articles, and please cite sources for any established facts. - Graestan 20px (This party's over) 22:28, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

Recent edits

On Wookieepedia, we try to avoid creating lists of information in bits, such as that which you added to the shiak article. Please refrain from editing in that style, as this is an encyclopedia, and not a trivia site. WP:TRIVIA -- Graestan(Talk) 04:50, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

  • See WP:TRIVIA for our practices regarding disjointed lists of information. I'm not angry; just trying to get everyone up to speed on things. Bullet points with single sentences doesn't fall within the wiki's current practices; indeed, it has been phased out in most areas and on many levels. If you're going to add large portions, please do so in paragraphs. The sentences of the paragraph don't have to be directly related, as they all have in common whatever it is that had them together in a list to begin with. This isn't a directly policy-related issue, and I'm not warning you as an administrator or anything, but my opinion is shared with a great may users, particularly those involved with the featured article nomination process, which creates precedents on the wiki much like court cases do in the laws of countries. Graestan(Talk) 05:05, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
    • That's great; this is something which helps our overall quality of appearance a considerable amount. When you do reformat, take the wookify templates out which I placed at the tops of the pages. I was going to reformat them myself, and that was a way of notifying myself which articles needed attention. Merry Christmas! Graestan(Talk) 05:12, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

Grand Master

Hello there Tommy9281, you recently expanded the Grand Master article and I noticed you forgot to source it, I'm just wondering where all that information came from. Can you please source it? Thank you. --Jedimca0(Do or Do Not, There is No Try) 10:31, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

  • I'm currently working on a few other articles, but I was planning to improve the Grand Master article as soon as my current projects are completed. And, since I don't have all the relevant sources yet, I won't be able to work on it right now.... So you're going to have to source it... I might be able to help in a few weeks, but I think you'll be done by then. :)
Thank you for your quick reply and keep up the good work. --Jedimca0(Do or Do Not, There is No Try) 10:56, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
    • Kindly stop replacing the high def screencap of Yoda with the crappy quality illustration from the Essential Guide to the Force. Thanks. - JMAS 15:27, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

sourcing

It looks like you got most of the references you added right. But, the "DS" ([1]) one looks funny.... I'd fix it if I knew what you meant by it. And you'll need to reference every section, at least, if you want it to become a Good or Featured article. Which would be my goal. --Jedimca0(Do or Do Not, There is No Try) 12:00, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

  • Hello again Tommy9281, I have some more advice for you. :)
I noticed your comment on Graestan's talk page; if you're worried someone will remove the information you added before you can source it, you should probably add the inuse template to the article to let other users know you're still working on it. Keep up the good work. --Jedimca0(Do or Do Not, There is No Try) 15:57, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

Odan-Urr

Greyman and I have done extensive research, and really nitpicked over the details concerning Odan-Urr and whether or not he is to be considered a Grand Master (quite yet), as we are the leaders of WookieeProject: Tales of the Jedi. Right now, the consensus is that he is not to be described in such a way, or even alluded to, until and unless Lucasfilm Limited specifically states that he is. Jedi vs. Sith: The Essential Guide to the Force, the newest publication (and we know that LFL has gone out of their way recently to fix continuity errors and clear up vagaries), seems to go out of its way to avoid describing him so. Therefore, Odan-Urr will remain the most prominent Jedi of his era and the founder of the Great Jedi Library, but not the Grand Master of the Order. Graestan(Talk) 05:54, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

  • The rest of Grand Master doesn't seem out of line at all. Be sure to make it thorough with the citation; the whole site is seeing a systematic raising of the bar when it comes to accountability and verifiability. Graestan(Talk) 06:04, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
    • That looks great! It's one of those non-conventional articles that is still a pleasure to read. Great work! Graestan(Talk) 16:35, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

Grand Master Article

Hello there Tommy9281, I've noticed that you recently re-added some POV and speculation to the Grand Master article after I had removed it. Could you please remove it again? or, could you perhaps remove the inuse template so I can remove it myself? Thank you. --Jedimca0(Do or Do Not, There is No Try) 11:22, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

Re:

I redirected Four Stages of the Dark Side to Dark side of the Force, because the four stages is part of the dark side. Also, one thing that myself, and others, have noticed with regards to your edits recently is that they contain a degree of speculation and Original research. When adding content to Wookieepedia, please add only information from sources that can be verified using our Sourcing and citation policy. Feel free to add the Four Stages of the Dark Side into the Dark side of the Force article, being careful to only include verifiable information. Also, you can find the information you added on the Four Stages here. Remember…be bold ;) Cheers, Greyman(Paratus) 04:06, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

  • There ya go :) I fixed the above link, so give it another try. Enjoy, Greyman(Paratus) 04:31, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

Inuse tags on FAs

Not giving out to you, but just advising you that it's not advised to add inuse tags to articles that are already FAs, as these are read by many visitors and it looks bad when a supposedly complete article has a tag like that on it. I'm not discouraging you from editing the articles, but I would advise you not to bother with the inuse tag unless it's absolutely necessary. Cheers, -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 17:35, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

  • You're edits look fine; keep up the good work. Thanks for removing the tag. Oh, btw, I'm not actually an admin. Cheers, -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 17:49, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

RE: Freedon Nadd Uprising

Hello there Tommy9281, which image did you want to add, can you provide a link? thanks. --Jedimca0(Do or Do Not, There is No Try) 07:48, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

  • Hey Tommy. I've been away from my computer for a few days, so I just got your msg. I see that Jedimca0 already replied, but what picture did you have in mind? I think I know which one it is, but feel free to link me your thoughts. Cheers, Greyman(Talk) 00:29, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
  • Thanks for showing me which picture it is you had in mind. I've spoken with Jedimca0 about it, and I think we're going to stay with the current picture. However, we have no problem using the picture you've provided in the main body of the article somewhere! Thanks for your cooperation and with asking us while the Inuse tag is posted there, Greyman(Talk) 14:30, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

WTOTJtalk

Hey, Tommy. Could you please remove the WTOTJtalk from the article Duel in the Senate (Old Republic)? That template is actually only for talk pages which fall within the scope of WookieeProject Tales of the Jedi—so, feel free to add it to the tops of those relevant talk pages. I already added it to the talk page for the Duel in the Senate article, so if you could remove it from the main article it would be appreciated. Since you have the Inuse template on there, I didn't want to edit the article without advising you of it first. Cheers, Greyman(Talk) 15:19, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

WookieeProject Tales of the Jedi

Hey, Tommy9281. As you may or may not know, I've updated the main focus of WP:TOTJ. If you could review the new main focus here and contribute where possible, it would appreciated. Cheers, Greyman(Talk) 15:45, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

A little addition to WP:TOTJ

Hey, Tommy. I've added some additions to the project, more specifically here to help clean up featured articles that were FA'd outside of the project. Read through what I've written, and help out where possible if you so desire :) Cheers, Greyman(Talk) 14:08, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Aleema

I'm going through and giving the article a copy-edit right now, an after that I will leave a list of my own objections, which, since we're a team on WP:TOTJ, are really just suggestions, and I'll be happy to help you with any of them if you ask. We appreciate your work. Graestan(Talk) 20:52, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

  • Hey, Tommy. I'm really glad I could be of assistance. You've got a well-written article there, and it's always encouraging to see additional users like yourself contribute to the GAs and FAs. Please feel free to keep dropping down nominations! If I ever post some objections and take a little while to get around to striking them, don't feel discouraged. It's likely just me taking on too much work for myself to keep up with, but I'll definitely get to looking at anything. I look forward to working with you on future noms. :) Toprawa and Ralltiir 22:00, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Aleema Keto

Hey, Tommy. I was curious if you're planning on finishing up with Aleema Keto before moving onto more projects? Right now, it's got some outstanding objections on the GAN page, and you still have the Inuse tag on it. I would recommend finishing up with Aleema before tackling any more large projects, like Satal Keto. Greyman(Talk) 16:40, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

  • No problem. Greyman(Talk) 17:07, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
    • No worries, Tommy. Basically, I would recommend you look over Wookieepedia's Layout Guide, which will help show you how an article should be "laid out." While appearance lists should be organized by in-universe chronological order (events happening in 3 ABY come before 4 ABY, and so forth), source lists should be arranged in order by which they were published in real life. So, for example, the Star Wars Encyclopedia, which was published in 1998, would come before The New Essential Chronology, which was published in 2005. To get these dates, just look at the articles in your specific source list. They will be included in the infobox...Now for the Behind the Scenes (BTS) expansion, please look at, for example, the "Notable appearances" section under the BTS for Tarrin Datch, an article I have up for Featured Article nomination presently. Also, look at the BTS for Fenn Shysa, an article written by Cull Tremayne. Cull really does a spectacular job of writing BTS sections the way I believe they should be done. You can use his article as a model for you. One final thing, I've noticed you've been signing your username incorrectly. To properly sign your username, simply add the following 4 tildes, like so: ~~~~. That way, you won't have to type out your name every time. :) Toprawa and Ralltiir 21:17, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
      • Everything you're looking for can be found on Wookieepedia. Just needs a little research. First, look in the article's list of appearances, which should always have a (First appearance) tag next to something. In Aleema's case, the first appearance is Tales of the Jedi – The Freedon Nadd Uprising 2. Then, click on that article to see who wrote the comic and in what year it was published. With this information in hand, the info can be put together simply by writing, "The character of Aleema Keto was first created by writer Tom Veitch for the Tales of the Jedi comic series, first appearing in the issue The Freedon Nadd Uprising: Initiates of the Sith, published in 1994." However, in Aleema's case, you have special circumstances, since while she first appeared in that comic series, she was (First mentioned) in the Dark Empire endnotes. So, after the sentence example I provided, you should write something saying something like, "However, the character was first mentioned by Veitch in the Dark Empire endnotes, and expand on exactly what these were, what they entailed, and how they came before the comic series. This information can be found in the article. And, as far as your username sig, you may have gone in and changed your signature to specifically reflect this, but unless you've done so, you're still doing something wrong, I think. When you sign your sig, it should appear as a blue link to your userpage. Yours is not showing any link. Toprawa and Ralltiir 18:02, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

Some article advice

Hey, Tommy. Thanks for finishing up Duel in the Senate (Old Republic)—you laid down a good base for others to build off of. That being said, I have gone over the article and done some minor formatting and MoS/LG cleanups. Since it's stuff that you'll need to do every time you write an article, I'd thought I'd make you aware of the fixes I made:

  • When sourcing, please follow our Sourcing policy to the tee. Especially How to reference articles. When you reference an article, the first mention/reference of a source needs to be in this format → . Likewise, when you go reference that source again, you just need to put → , instead of the entire initial code. Likewise, if you're just going to use a source once, then please use the following code → . Like I linked to at the beginning, all of this stuff is laid out on the Sourcing page :)
  • Please list Sources in date of publication, earliest to latest, per our Manual of Style.
  • Try to stay away from flowery or poetic headings like "A dual of epic proportions". The simple fact is that it is not encyclopedic. If you look over any of the articles User:Greyman/Portfolio|I've written for FA or GA, you'll notice that I just stick with non-flowery headings—headings like "Prelude", "The battle", "The duel", "Early life", etc etc. You'll notice that the vast majority of other serious writers here tend to stray away from the flowery headings—descriptive is fine, but poetic is crossing the line, in my opinion. Also, please remember that section heads are not to be capitalized. They should be, for example, "The duel" and not "The Duel".
  • An article's behind the scenes section can be a touchy and tricky part to write. The best rule of thumb is to only stick things in the Behind the scenes that are directly related to the topic you're writing about. For example, I removed the mentions of Kenobi's and Skywalker's duel, and Yoda's and Palpatine's duel, because they were not directly related to the Duel in the Senate (Old Republic), but instead fan-speculation gleaned from somewhat similar circumstances in those events.
  • Please remember to follow our Layout guide for all material in the "Appearances" section, using the correct template, if need be, such as Mo or . It should all be explained in that link at the beginning of this paragraph. Likewise, please follow this part of the Layout Guide for adding/distinguishing sources.

Otherwise, good job with taking the initiative on this article. Keep up the good work, and I'm looking forward to watching you promote Aleema Keto to GA, and eventually FA. Cheers, Greyman(Talk) 14:35, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

  • Hey, Tommy. Like you asked of me, Aleema's first appearance was in the comic issue Tales of the Jedi – The Freedon Nadd Uprising 2. Her character was conceived and written by author Tom Veitch, and drawn by Tony Akins. Veitch's creation of Aleema for the FNU, though her appearance in that issue was short, laid the ground work for her deeper involvement in the next two story arcs of the Tales of the Jedi comic series, Dark Lords of the Sith and The Sith War, respectively. Likewise, you'll notice on Aleema's article that I edited the Appearances section to reflect only the comic issues that she appeared in—hopefully that makes it a little easier for you to find info on her :) Cheers, Greyman(Talk) 15:00, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

Re: Duel in the Senate (Old Republic)

Hey, Tommy. I'll give the article a copy-edit later today sometime, and at that point I'll make any minor corrections it may need :) From giving it a quick look, plus the cleanup I did the other day, I don't think much more other than a copy-edit needs to be done. Likewise, if you ever need help in a real time fashion with anything project-related, feel free sign into project's IRC channel—usually all the other members of the project are signed in there, or most of them are. If you don't currently have an IRC client, feel free to check out this list. If you use the web browser FireFox, you'll probably find Chatzilla the easiest one to use, since it's built for FireFox. Myself, and come to think of it, the other projects all use Chatzilla. However, use whichever one you think will work best for you :) Cheers, Greyman(Talk) 14:50, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

  • The audio dramas are the same level of canon as the comics. However, the audio books don't have anything new in them outside what's presented in the comics, so don't worry about referencing them. The only thing that you might want to do is if you're writing a Behind the scenes for a character's article, and they are in the audio book, just place who voiced them and which audio book, and you're good to go. Greyman(Talk) 15:08, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

Re: Aleema's BtS

Hey, Tommy. Aleema's BtS looks quite good, though there is still an outstanding objection of mine on Aleema's GAN about the BtS ;) It's about her linage and what you've written about her possible descendants—the objection should be pretty self-explanatory :) As for your the other objections that have been left for Aleema by others, if you've fixed them then I would just leave a msg on the objector's talk pages asking that they review the objections due to the fact that you've done your best to fix them. If they still think something needs to be done, then they will clarify the objection for you.

As for your signature question, it sounds like you have something improperly placed in your "My Preferences" link. At the top of your window, click on "My Prefences"; then under the "User Profile" tab you'll see a box with "Nickname" beside it, and a checkmark box below it that says "Raw signature". What I think is the matter is that you simply put "Tommy" in the Nickname box, and have the Raw signature box checked. So, when you type ~~~~'s it produces whatever you have in that box. What I suggest is copying/pasting something like the following into that Nickname box, leaving the Raw signature with a check mark in it -- Tommy9281 (I live as energy...I am the dark side!) -- that code I just posted was an old code of yours that you used once on WP:TOTJ. If you put a code like that in your My Preferences, then you'll get a custom signature with a link to your userpage and talk page whenever you sign with four tildes. Cheers, Greyman Jan.png (Talk) 00:07, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Sourcing names

Hey, Tommy. Just a quick fyi, you don't have to source a name in the infobox. I removed it from one of the articles you're working on, but then realized that you had the inuse tag on it. So, I thought I'd let you know. Cheers, Greyman Jan.png (Talk) 18:51, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Template fooling?

Hello there! May I ask what template I'm fooling you with? --Darth Paulus 20px (May the Force serve you well!) 18:23, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

2nd Battle of Onderon

You're welcome! I had a ball listening to all the dialog in the audio book, but there's still some elements missing, I think. For instance, Nomi is with a Republic captain as she lands on Onderon in the audio drama, while in the comic, we see her with a Jedi task force. Though this could take place after the audio book landing. I'm going to listen to it again in a while, so there'll probably be some extra additions. I really liked finding some actual connections between the comic and the audio, like ship names/callsigns. There's always so much unnamed visuals in the comics. :) VT-16 22:36, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

Same article

That's great! Have I forgotten to add sourcing to some part of the article? I think I've remembered everything from the audio dialog and the comic that I could think of. :) VT-16 16:52, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

Image Categorization

Hey, I was reviewing some of your edits to a few images and many edits were redundant. For example on the Aleema Keto images, to save you from having to keep entering Category:Images of the KrathCategory:Images of Sith acolytes and apprentices you can just put in that character's specific cat and, if they have one, the category shold already be sorted. I hope this makes sense, its kind of hard to type and explain at the same time. Anyway, her category will already show up in the Krath and Sith acolytes and apprenctices without typing that on every image. Purpilia 22:52, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Appearances timeline sorting

Hey Tommy, I wanna thank you for creating and adding a lot appearances to Gangster article. I just wanna let you know that section Appearances are sorted according timeline in the SW universe when particular events happened and not alphabetical or year of product releasing. When you're editing book, comics or other product it's custom to use Appearances as alphabetical sorting example: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Darth_Bane:_Rule_of_Two. Btw I'm using this site for timeline sorting http://www.timelineuniverse.net/Reviews.htm. I'm gonna sort that now for you. Thanks and keep up a good work. Jedi Marty 22:22, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

Torture

  • Wow! Unbelievable! Let's see... I thing more entries should be added to the "notable examples" category first. I'm not sure if every case of torture (painful topic...) in the Star Wars universe should be added, but there are several brutal incidents with named characters that definitely should be described (or just mentioned, depending on if they’ve already been described earlier in the article). The easiest way, I guess, is to read the list of appearances, check what hasn’t been described yet, and add the ones that are “worthy”. Oh, and thank you so much, I really enjoy working with you too:-) Nightlily 11:54, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
    • You asked in IRC about more suitable pics. I know there is a torture scene in the My Brother, My Enemy arc. --Eyrezer 06:32, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Hi Tommy! Hmmm, that's strange. I can't explain it either. But I believe we've been able to fix every "damage" so far. It won't be long now, I think, before we've made it perfect. You've done a great job, keep up the good work. We make a perfect team:-) Nightlily 17:03, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Hi again! It can't have been The Burning, since both flesh and bones were burned away. But I've looked up in Legacy of the Force: Inferno, and I would definitely call it torture. I've added it to the article. Nightlily 17:42, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Okay, what do you think? Should we go for a nomination now? Nightlily 19:01, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Hi Tommy! Yes, I'm done now. This is exciting:-) Nightlily 17:42, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Okay... AdmirableAckbar thinks the article needs more work. Let's see... Okay, one thing at the time, perhaps... The easiest bit first. He'd like the appearances section to discern when the term "torture" is said. No problem for me finding out where, but how do we show it? Marking the titles with * or something? Nightlily 20:22, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
  • Hello, my friend! I'll figure out a way to show where the term is mentioned. Let's give the sources some time, and we'll have a perfect list in the end. We could start with looking at the notes and references, and see which ones should also make it into the sources. One way to find the other ones is be to check which pages that link to the article (like the Inquisitorius), and see if there's any useful info and find the source(s) for it. There are pages where the word torture is mentioned, that aren't linked to yet, but I'll link to them also (before I created the article, I searched for torture, and stored a list with links to every page where torture was mentioned). We can also search for words like pain, suffering, etc. Of course, pain and suffering do not relate only to torture, but at least some of the search results should be useful. Or many of them, if we're lucky. Sources with information on carbonite freezing and the Mustafar lava flea could be a nice, easy beginning (both are used for torture).Nightlily 13:27, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
  • Hi Tommy! I didn't expect you to work on this particular article 24/7, no apoligies necessary. The titles where the word torture' (incl. inflections and compounds) is mentioned, are now written in bold (bold and italics). (And there are many of them.) Of course, I'm sure there are others - these are those I remembered (and double-checked), and the ones I've found here and there - but I only have one mind and one pair of eyes. I'll start looking for sources as soon as I can, and also add more information. Yes, please give me your ideas, partner:-) This will probably be a long process, but hopefully, it will all be worth it in the end. See you soon! Nightlily 15:58, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
  • Hi! I, too, think it's a good idea to remove the nomination for now. I've already read Legacy of the Force: Invincible (a really good novel, in my opinion), and there's tons of material, I've just haven't gotten around to add any info from the book yet. I'll continue adding sources as I find them, and work on descriptions of methods. Nightlily 18:46, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
    • That's a good idea. I've just added a methods section with general information, but since the time is 21.35 in Norway, I have to end my work for today now, and continue tomorrow. See you later, partner! Nightlily 19:36, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
  • Hello, my friend! I'm glad you feel the same way that I do about our teamwork. You're doing a great job, and the new categories are a valuable addition to the article. About the pictures; I reckoned the explanation was something like that. I agree with you about the notable instances section, and I've already began to moved parts of it to other sections of the article. I'm glad you put the tag there, useful, and makes me a little proud:-) Nightlily 17:06, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
  • Hello there:-) About Darth Bane; I'm not sure what you mean. Perhaps I'm overlooking something? Nightlily 15:33, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
    • Haven't heard anything from you...? Nightlily 14:04, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
  • Hi Tommy! If you could add the info from Darth Bane: Path of Destruction and Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader, it would be great. There's probably still info to be added - there are some RPG material that I haven't looked through yet, and there might be some important info from novels/comics/guide books that we've overlooked. But I we're not far from the "perfect" article. Nightlily 14:09, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

Dual-phase

For your consideration: that image of Corran doesn't really show his lightsaber is dual-phase. Another image you might consider to better demonstrate would be File:Kenobivaderanh.jpg. Because it shows Kenobi's regular blade in comparison, you can see that Vader's is longer. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 21:42, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

Malak torturing Bastila

Hey Tommy, there are two quotes from KotOR where Malak is torturing Bastila, I found them Here: Quote:Darth_Malak. I hope the will be usefull to you. Cheers. Madclaw File:Darth Animal.jpg|30px Shyriiwook! 15:52, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

Darth Malak

Hey, Tommy. I fixed up the article a little, still needs referencing and such. Please take a look at it, and put other suggestions on how to make it better on my talk page. Thanks.--Jedi Kasra 19:49, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

  • Alright, I looked through KotOR issues 19 and 20 for a quote for the "Adasca's plot" section and nothing jumped out. Maybe this quote here:
Adasca: "This is an advance that transcends simple monetary compensation, don't you agree?"
Alek: "A dangerous advance. The power to destroy matter on an astronomical scale -- that's too much for any government to wield responsibly!"
―Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 19: Daze of Hate, Part 1

But even that quote might not be good enough. And as for a quote for the "The quest's end nears" section, we'll probably have to wait for future material, such as the Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide. And as far as the "Master" thing goes, since Revan wasn't Alek's real, but "honorary" (whatever that means) master, in my opinion he shouldn't have a capital "M" when referring to Revan as Alek's "master". And I think I did a better job of wording the sentence which talks about Bastila, Carth, Revan and Malak. I'll look it over again later. Please leave me a message.--Jedi Kasra 03:50, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

  • So, what do you think about the above quote? Like I said, I couldn't find any other quotes in the Daze of Hate arc that really stuck out. Maybe you can help me look in Quote:Darth Malak and other "Quote" pages? I know that in the first game, if one plays a female Revan, Carth will tell you that he met Malak if asked, that would be a fine quote to put somewhere in the article.--Jedi Kasra 22:46, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
  • O.K. I got your message, will add to the "Adasca's plot" section. I and Drewton have been doing a lot of work on Malak. No, I wasn't worried that you were "sleeping" on the nom, don't worry about that. And I was the one to unstrike your objections actually, because AdmirableAckbar told Drewton that he couldn't strike your objections, and that you had to, so I unstruck them.--Jedi Kasra 23:08, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Aleema Keto

Hey Tommy, just making you aware of what's happening with Aleema Keto. Acky recommended an image reshuffle, and although he said it's not technically an objection, I believe it still counts as one. Since your article now has five support votes, once Acky strikes his objections, it will be a good article. Just letting you know this. BTW, you did a really nice job with Aleema, and it's definitely got potential for FA, if you feel like taking it there. You've done a lot of good work with TOTJ articles thus far. Keep it up. Chack Jadson (Talk) 00:34, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Re:

No, it's not frowned upon at all, unless you made some contentious changes; so, for instance, fixing spelling or changing around a sentence is fine, but something like changing the main image or removing a whole chunk of text should be discussed beforehand. It's not a big deal, but most users -- some to more of an extent than others -- fix things that they are able to themselves (spelling, that type of thing) and object about things they need clarification on or can't help. Obviously, if you found numerous spelling errors throughout the article you could object about that, but single errors usually just take up more space than necessary. :-) About 4dot/JMAS, it's usually okay for another user to fix those types of objections; Ataru, for instance, has been fixing some of the objections to Dooku, even though it's not his nom. Hope that all helps, and don't be discouraged from reviewing or voting at all. :-) -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 18:26, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Cay

Thanks. I think I will need some images later, so I'll just let you know. I saw you nominated Aleema Keto for FA, BTW. Good luck! Chack Jadson (Talk) 02:28, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

  • Thanks for the kind words. Once again, I appreciate your eagerness to help, especially because I will need some images and perhaps some quotes. Chack Jadson (Talk) 21:50, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
    • Excellent! If you could upload that image for me, I would greatly appreciate it. Would you be able to upload any more images for me? If so, there's one in DLOTS where Cay's talking about the Ketos. He says they probably don't know what they unleashed. That's a good picture. Also, one during the Battle of Deneba, where he's saying you'll have to teach me that Master, while fighting a droid. Thanks. If you can't get the other two images, that's fine, I can find someone else who can. By the way, Conclave on Deneba is now a GA. Chack Jadson (Talk) 13:43, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
      • Tommy, I don't mean to bother you, but could you please let me know about these images? Again, it's fine if you can't get them. Thanks! Chack Jadson (Talk) 18:54, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Take it to FA!

Hey, Tommy. Second Battle of Onderon has just reached GA status! Please take it over to the FAN page, and we'll help it reach the next stage. :) Toprawa and Ralltiir 02:48, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Darth Zannah

  • Hi Tommy im Darth Revanon and Ive noticed that everytime i put Zannah on the sith apprentice page you undo it. Yes i know that Darth Zannah didnt get her Darth title at that point in the story, which is why I did it this way Zannah instead of having it this way- Darth Zannah. the reason it has 2 be the way im doing it is so that when u click on the name zannah it wont tell u on her page that it was redirected from Zasnnah and im also doing it that way cause its policy here. So can I do it without you undoing it?--Darth Revanon 11:55, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Lightsaber duels

  • Yea me and a few other people are editing out all these articles. but im sort of confused by wat u said wen u meant i shud follow the format of previous duels made. Maybe if u changed Duel at The Home around alittle i wud understand wat u mean?--Darth Revanon 7:22, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
  • But i cant take all of the credit. Steve has also helped me out. 4 u 2 find out who that is, luk in Duel at the homes history and ull c that hes there. he actually does the first draft and then i go and help him out. but he told me that hes not gonna be online for a few days cuz hes gonna focus on reading Invincible and then hell finish the article, and then he is also gonna do the duels/battles that happen in Invincible as well. So thats sumthing else u can help us out with.--Darth Revanon 7:47, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

What is thy Bidding?

My Master...

Everything is fine, and I have been about in the IRC, so we must just be missing each other...

Imaginer if Vader said that to Palpatine in Episode V...

The First battle of the Maw Installation. Yes. When I wrote it i didn't have 'Jedi Search' to get a full list of ships for the Kessel fleet, so it's still a work in progress. However, anything you have about the battle from any other sources would be most helpful, if you'd be so kind?

Also, a new Bane project intrigues me. What did you have in mind? The biggest problem I can think of is the factt hat neither Jedi vs Sith or the Darth Baneduology has been confirmed as the canon history, but i'm sure we could work around it.

And as for Aleema vs Hetton... There will come a time when i will defeat you Tommy, and take your place. But today is not that day! Darth Xadún(Consult the Holocron) 07:43, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

Signature

Can I have a signature? Darth being my user page Revan being my talk page and Lord of the sith being my contributions. Thanks!--The Darth Revan 00:37, 24 May 2008 (UTC) Thanks! I can wait. I will just go on to editing red links. --The Darth Revan 00:53, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

Links

Just FYI, when you're sourcing an article, it's better not to link to Tempest, Exile, Fury, Inferno or Invincible. Those are disambiguation pages, or pages about ships. For the books, you have to pipe the link, like this: Fury. -LtNOWIS 02:44, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

Battle Format

Can you paste a better format for battles to my talk page if you have one? Thanks.--Darth Malevolous 23:54, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Dark Side sourcings

Greetings, Master.

I require urgently the Dark side sourcebook information on Gantoris. Only that stands between the Article and it's FAN. Please post anything of note on my talk page, so I can move onto more... important matters. Or, if I am in the IRC, tell me in there. At any rate, I wish to speak with you. in a more private setting.
