A nice clean talk page
My Zekka Thyne featured page nomination
Hey, my name's Colin. I've been working very hard on the Zekka Thyne page for a featured article nomination, and as of right now, I've added all the pics and info I can get my hands on, read and reported on all the material the character is featured in, and addressed almost every concern that's been voiced.
The only thing that hasn't been addressed is that the article is lacking specific information about the Star Wars Galaxies missions Zekka assigns. Unfortunately, I can't find that information anywhere online, and since I haven't had a SWG account in years, I can't log on and find it myself. I'm hoping somebody will add that eventually, but in the grand scheme of things, I think it's pretty minor information, and would argue it shouldn't hold up its nomination.
I've been told the nomination has potential but doesn't have the votes, and that I should ask some people to review it for me. (I haven't actively asked people yet; I've never really gone through this process before.) I was hoping maybe you'd take a look at it and see if it's worthy of a vote from you? Or give me any further suggestions? I'd really appreciate it!
Thanks!

Zule Xiss
I can sort of see your point, but my firm opinion is that her species should be listed as unknown. Author intent isn't canon, after all. Even if the script intended her to be Falleen, she clearly isn't portrayed as such, and never once referred to as such by any published source. And if I didn't get the Chee entry entirely wrong, what he said was just that it isn't impossible for her to be Falleen, not that she necessarily is. Re:ACCA
First of all, I was blocked, and that block was for breaking the 3RR, which you also broke. Secondly, I don't know what kind of text you're reading, but the Council is mentioned during the trial of Revan (the one for him destroying the Hrakert Rift station's mining equipment). What I said was a conjectural title, and it's only called "the Council", and since everything else has "Ahto City" in the title, I named it the "Ahto City Council". Now, I'm really tired of you having everything that isn't 100% fact removed out of everything I do. Conjecture and speculation is necassary to keep this Wiki afloat, whether you and all the other pompous administrators who share your idea will admit it or not. If you continue to attack my works, I will nominate the removal of your admin status. This isn't "Hydronipedia", so stop trying to shape it into your twisted vision of how the Wiki shoud be.--Shaelas(Ahto High Court) 20:12, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
Galleries in articles serve a purpose
I can understand removing galleries that stand alone, but actual pictures related to each article and organized within those articles? They actually serve some purpose for the viewers, unlike the stand alone galleries that just clog up space if the pictures there aren't used anywhere. VT-16 13:07, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

Gar Stazi FA Nomination
Hey Lord Hydromium. I just saw your post on the comments about Gar Stazi on the FAN page. Jacen Caedus
Umm, considering this is the subject of an ongoing and rather heated debate, are you sure you should be jumping into this particular hornets' nest feetfirst? Even if this winds up being the name after Invincible, there are valid spoiler concerns suggesting the move should wait until after the Invincible spoiler period is up. jSarek 11:45, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
- Basically, the character:
- Is identified as Darth Caedus in the dramatis personae
- Identifies himself as Darth Caedus publicly
- Is called Darth Caedus by other characters
- Is called Darth Caedus in years to come (Legacy)
- Those are all the not-really-spoiler reasons, though actual spoilers raise others; you might know them already. Anyway, I think that by any of the standards set by our naming policy, there's no doubt it should be at Darth Caedus. In regards to the Senate Hall topic, since there was no actual vote or other form of consensus track, I considered policy and took the initiative in bringing the article into line with it. I discussed it with some others on IRC, whose names I'll turn in at the drop of a hat to keep me out of trouble (:P), as to whether being bold was warranted; I'm not saying that substitutes for a CT or anything of the sort, but I'm letting you know I didn't just do it unilaterally or on a whim. As for the spoilers, he's been known as Caedus for a year now; I don't think moving the article says any more than that's what he became known as, which is something we've known was coming since Revelation. - Lord Hydronium 11:57, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
- Good enough for me. Just wanted to make sure. jSarek 12:13, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Imperial-class Super Star Destroyer ID'd
I notice the article was reverted to an earlier, provisional name which I think is incorrect, due to the fact that twice in the Dark Empire audio dramatization, are these vessels identified. The Allegiance is both refered to in dialog as "Imperial-class destroyer" and "Super Star Destroyer" (the latter of which is also used in the Dark Empire comic and the Sourcebook). The ships escorting the Eclipse are also identified as the same two names (yes, even as SSDs) in dialog. I know the name sounds stupid, given the preexisting ships, but them's the breaks. I chose to use both identifications in the article name, to avoid repeating a separate existing name used for the Imperial-class in those articles. Is it alright if I revert to the class name now? It's better than Allegiance type, which isn't used in any official source at all. :) VT-16 17:07, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- I'm looking through the script, and I don't see anywhere that the Allegiance is called an Imperial-class (the closest is being called "Imperial Star Destroyer"), nor do I see anywhere that the ones escorting Eclipse are Super Star Destroyers or that they're the same class as the Allegiance. - Lord Hydronium 20:52, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not talking about a script, I'm talking about the radio drama itself. They mention both the Allegiance as an SSD as well as the Eclipse's escort later on, even commenting on its (the Eclipse's) size compared to the other ships. We see both the Eclipse's escorts and the Allegiance in the comic, and they look very similar in appearance, like bloated ISDs without a primary hangar-bay. That's why I renamed the article because there was actual in-source naming for these ships (being called both Imperial-class destroyer and Super Star Destroyer, I had to listen over and over again to make sure I wasn't hearing things). I can just revert them again, it's no problem. :) VT-16 21:09, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- The Allegiance is called a Super Star Destroyer, but this script says nothing about the ones at Pinnacle Base being called that. Can you provide the quote? - Lord Hydronium 22:39, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- I did provide it in the article as a quote for a couple of paragraphs, one of which you erased when you reverted the info. The one remaining describes the Eclipse and its escorts, which are called Super Star Destroyers:
- The Allegiance is called a Super Star Destroyer, but this script says nothing about the ones at Pinnacle Base being called that. Can you provide the quote? - Lord Hydronium 22:39, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

- "We count three ships, repeat, three ships approaching Pinnacle Base!
Confirm that! Scanners indicate two are Imperial-class Destroyers, the third is...
The third is enormous, measures ten miles across!" - ―Republic sensor crews upon detecting the Eclipse and its escorts
- "Three Imperial ships just came out of hyperspace, right over the planet. Two Super Star Destroyers and, well, it can only be the Emperor's flagship."
- ―Mon Mothma
Those are said when the Eclipse arrives with its escort ships over Pinnacle Base, at the climax of the audio drama. I had to listen two the last one over and over again to make sure I was hearing right. To simplify things, I renamed the article Imperial-class Super Star Destroyer because Imperial-class Destroyer is already used in the Imperial-class Star Destroyer article, it makes more sense to combine the words like in the Darth Krayt's Sith Empire article. There is some contradiction between the audio drama and the earlier comic, since that had three ships accompanying the Eclipse. That's why I said two of the above plus a third Star Destroyer accompanying the Eclipse in the article, merging the descriptions to avoid more contradictions (the third could always have arrived later than the others). There are even more contradictions in the audios later on (Palpatine's doctor being female for one thing, and Brand being implied to have robotic legs when he hovers in the comics). But this is fairly straight-forward. :) VT-16 06:32, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
- EDIT: It could be that the New Republic only referred to this type of SSD as Imperial-class ships simply because they look similar, like another type of slang, but it's the only official naming of them and ranks up higher than the provisional name Allegiance type. VT-16 06:53, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
- Well, my bad. The script I was going off doesn't have the "Super" there. I have no problem with an "Imperial-class Super Star Destroyer" article, then, but there needs to be proof that it's the same as the Allegiance's class if you want to move that one. - Lord Hydronium 09:22, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
- Hmmm, the only real evidence I have is that they both look similar in the comic (visually, they have no main hangar bay visible, but do have an enlarged reactor bulb and apparantly an engine-configuration similar to the ISDs), are both called Super Star Destroyers in the audio drama and that the word Imperial is involved (though for the Allegiance, the captain just says Imperial Star Destroyer, while Imperial-class destroyer appears to be used only in reference to the vessels that accompany the Eclipse later on). I'm gonna move the class name but keep the Allegiance separate until further notice. VT-16 09:57, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
- Addendum: There appears to be an extra amount of superstructure infront of the Allegiance's command tower. That might be enough to make it a separate design or a variant. VT-16 09:59, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

You want to go home and rethink the NEGtAS information you're about to recieve.
Couldn't resist. Anywho, here's the NEGtAS information, verbatim, on death sticks from the Balosar section:
The fraudulent Balosar government is intricately embroiled with the galactic underworld in the illicit trade of death sticks. The primary ingredient of these drugs is lxetal cilona extract, distilled from balo mushrooms that are grown on Balosar in great quantities in underfround farms. Death sticks are extremely addictive and highly toxic, leading to certain death for most species, frequently over just a short period of use. And yet the users don't seem to mind. Many addicts end up hopelessly hooked after simply giving it a try, savoring the death stick's sweet, alluring flavor and feeling of instant euphoria that the drug brings. The death stick's toxicity affects addicts' brain function, causing them to slip into a bleak depression when they are not consuming the drug. Addicts find themselves craving more and more death sticks in order to hold on to the sense of happiness they recieve during the short amount of time it takes to smoke one.
The use of this product by the Balosars themselves has further contributed to the pollution found on their homeworld, and while the Balosars are immune to the toxicity of the death stick, they are not safe from its addictive properties. Desperate Balosars can be seen in busy spaceports throughout the galaxy hawking death sticks to earn whatever credits they can. Some, if not most, are addicted to their own product and sell death sticks to support their own habits.
During the time of the Old Republic, illegal trade in death sticks became the greatest competition to the addictive spice from Ryloth called ryll. This rivalry resulted in deep-seated dislike between Balosars and Twi'leks that continues to this day. Death sticks were easy to produce in mass quantities due to the prolific growth of balo mushrooms-- which, unlike ryll, were an easily renewable resource. Ryll needed to be mined in rather dangerous conditions, and was also most potent when combined with glitterstim to create the synthetic spice called glitteryll. Additionally, the ryll supply was tightly guarded at times, and regulated for use in the manufacture of several medicines. Thus, for a brief time, death sticks dominated the illegal drug trade, but this was not to last. Twi'lek drug lords were not pleased at the reduction in their income, and gang wars erupted. The Balosars defiently peddled their wares when able, although it proved necessary to become more discreet about it. However, by the dawn of the New Republic, the Balosar environment did what Twi'leks could not. The pollution choking the planet made its way into the underground balo mushroom farms, killing a massive amount of crop and severely damaging the spore stock, and the Twi'leks used this oppertunity to seize complete control of the spice market. Many Balosar drug merchants were reduced to joining forces with the Twi'leks as middlemen and low-level, unimportant runners.

Just wondering, but are you planning to address any of the objections that have been put up for this article's FA nomination? There were a number left by both myself and Ataru. Please advise.--Goodwood 20px (Alliance Intelligence) 02:44, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
- I am. I haven't gotten around to it yet. - Lord Hydronium 06:09, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
Help
- I was going to do a project on an article to improve or maybe bring it to FA, so do you have any suggestions? I would really appreciate help. Ifindyourlackoffaithdisturbing (Oya Manda!) 02:46, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
Battle of Coruscant
Could you have a look at Wookieepedia:Inq/Battle of Coruscant (Clone Wars) before August 17, please. Thank you. Green Tentacle (Talk) 20:46, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
Kouhun
Ah, sorry. I forgot about that. If I forget, I don't mind being reminded. I'll look at it now. Chack Jadson (Talk) 13:36, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
I seriously have no idea what you're talking about. If there are pictures of the Allegiance there, I will remove them. If there are pictures of the ships accompanying the Eclipse, they're supposed to be there. VT-16 08:39, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
- I forgot to remove the Allegiance from the article. I also already have an article for the Allegiance, since long ago. Now there are no images of it in the class article, only its own, singular ship article. VT-16 08:52, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
- One ship does not a class make. Going by all known sources, there is only an Allegiance SSD,(DE, DESB) which has no known sister ships, and an Imperial-class SSD, which are the ships following the Eclipse over Pinnacle Base. (DEAB) Please delete any Allegiance-class anything, and put the class text into an Imperial-class Super Star Destroyer article. If that has to be recreated from scratch by an admin, as I was told by I Need A Name. VT-16 08:59, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
- But I was told only admins could move something to a preexisting page. Every single time I try to do it myself, it gets deleted and an admin does the formal move. VT-16 09:03, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Darth Sion
Hey Hydronium, could you fix Sion's infobox refs using the Ref template please, I'd do it myself only I see you have it in use. Thanks - Kingpin13Cantina Battle Ground 13:40, 12 September 2008 (UTC)

What's up with my IRC?
I'm not suggesting you had something to do with this, but I have been banned - without any warning or stated reason - from the Wookieepedia IRC. I'm notifying you to see if something can't be done to find out what happened and if it can be reversed. Please see if you or another admin can address this as soon as possible. I will be notifying other admins of this development as well. Erik Pflueger 22:14, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Hi. Question about giant pig rodents.
Giant pig rodent--I noticed you deleted this page, and am curious why. This is a canon animal preyed on by rancors, pictured in Wildlife of Star Wars.JustinGann 00:44, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
- That was in March; I have no idea why, other than that it had a {{Delete}} tag. If it's canon, feel free to recreate it. - Lord Hydronium 03:30, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

I tried to start a Senate Hall discussion as per your suggestion. I hope I represented your concerns accurately. If not, please elucidate;)JustinGann 21:03, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
Mako Spince FF
Hey, Hydro; I've looked through the FFs, and Spince has no entry of his own, and the index doesn't indicate that he's mentioned in any of the other entries either. Maybe his height is listed in the original Essential Guide to Characters? - Cavalier One(Squadron channel) 12:29, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
Imperial Knights
Thanks for all your suggestions --- the help is really appreciated. I've definitely done quite a bit of combing through John's & Jan's old posts; not a lot on the IK's, but the Legacy article is chalk full of goodness that I found. :^) But yeah, thanks for being so specific in your feedback. I have a lot of good stuff to go from now. Menkooroo 04:14, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
