Talk Page Cleansing

I sometimes clean out my talk page from old messages so I can keep organized.

You need to make 50 mainspace edits, so basically 50 edits on articles before you can upload images, you currently have 31 so once you make 19 more then you can upload images. When you do just remember to use this template and fill it out when you upload them so they don't get deleted --Lewisr (talk) 18:45, December 6, 2018 (UTC)

  • That's your total number of edits! If you look here and type in your username it will show 31 next to main, once that gets to 50 then you can upload images --Lewisr (talk) 19:12, December 6, 2018 (UTC)
    • No worries! --Lewisr (talk) 19:16, December 6, 2018 (UTC)
      • Your best bet for that sort of thing would be to contact an administrator as ultimately they are in charge here --Lewisr (talk) 19:20, December 6, 2018 (UTC)

Infoboxes

Hi, Eliaskapo. There already exists a userbox for userpages, called {{user infobox}}, so I've deleted the one you've created. If you want to create personal templates, you can use a user subpage, such as User:Eliaskapo/infobox, for example. Cheers, 1358 (Talk) 19:43, December 6, 2018 (UTC)

Uploading

While all good-faith contributions to Wookieepedia are appreciated, we ask that you please refer to Wookieepedia:Images, which can be found under the "other policies and guidelines" link in your welcome message, and familiarize yourself with the sourcing and licensing requirements before uploading any more images. The only uploading method supported by Wookieepedia, Special:Upload, will prompt you to enter this information. Wikia's non-standard upload forms are not supported under Wookieepedia policy, and ignorance of the uploading rules is not an acceptable excuse. Continued violation of the image policy or falsification of any information in an upload description are considered vandalism and will likely result in a block. Thank you. 1358 (Talk) 18:05, December 3, 2019 (UTC)

Uploading

Hello, when you're uploading images make sure to review Wookieepedia:Images so that you understand how to properly source and upload images. In Special:Upload follow the form and fill in all the fields so that the image you're uploading is properly sourced, categorized and its subject labeled. If you look here you can see the difference of how you uploaded initially vs. how it ought to look. Just make sure follow Wookieepedia's policies becuase disregarding them could result in a block by an administrator. If you have questions about this or anything else, don't hesitate to ask someone! RE:Can't edit images even though I reached the threshold

Hey, no worries! I recommend message one of the administrators so that they can help you out! --Vitus InfinitusTalk 23:43, 11 February 2021 (UTC)

  • Hello! We migrated to a new platform (UCP) late last year, and for some reason a glitch is causing the internal edit count it uses to regulate such things to only count edits after the move. My recommendation is to continue making edits until you reach 50 edits since October 2019. If you'd like, I can upload this specific image if there is a way for you to link me to it. Thank you for your cooperation. <-Omicron(Leave a message at the BEEP!) 20:54, 5 May 2021 (UTC)
