Tao

Tao's infobox should be a Jedi infobox and should have Redeemed Jedi as a category. It should have it as above because it says that he was Redeemed but his infobox is a Sith infobox but he was still Redeemed but with a Sith infobox it makes him not Redeemed.Pleas try to fix it if you can.And Darth Vader it says that Tao is a Dark Jedi.If you can please get back to me as soon as you can.

  • I explained all of this on Tao's talk page months ago, so please drop it, and stop trolling the issue. Greyman(Paratus) 17:36, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

Re: Sourcing

Hey Greyman, I used this format for the ref link in Joruus C'baoth, because {{journal}} cites articles/stories from the SWAJ like this:

SWAJsmall "From Heir to Last Command" — Star Wars Adventure Journal 1

So I thought it's standard to mention the AJ issue as well. (I didn't use the journal template as those small logos look bad in the ref section IMO). --Craven 12:33, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

Page Deletion

My page keeps being deleted or edited, without any clear reason being given as to why it should be removed. I realize that I am new here so if you could look at my article (Freeworlds: A Freelancer Total Conversion Mod) and let me know what the problem is I would greatly appreciate it. Redireting

I was working on an article that was to be merged and then redirected but I really don't know anything aabout redirecting can you maybe explain it. I saaw the templates but they don't really seem to fit. Darth Nezzera(In umbris potestas est)30px 04:58, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

Re: Deletion

That makes a little more sense then. What I still don't understand is why my article was not considered noteworthy, but there are other articles for Star Wars mods already up that are only a few lines long. Nothing against Tides of War, it is a fantastic mod, but what is it that makes ToW noteworthy and Freeworlds not? I reviewed the guidelines and the article I was writing met every single one of the criteria for noteworthiness listed there. It is a complete mod with 22 systems and over 200 ships, it has been around far longer than six months ( if you count all the versions this mod goes back several years), it has a large and active fan base, is there some category that I'm just not seeing? Thon headshot

Hey G-man, any way I can talk you into taking the original image you created this Thon headshot from and redoing it so that Thon's shoulders/front leg(s) are still visible? I appreciate the work it took to clean that image up the way you did, but it just looks funny having the legs missing. Thanks. - JMAS 04:15, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

  • Much thanks. - JMAS 04:20, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the welcome, G-Man. Remember, do not try an bend the spoon, that's impossible. Instead only try to realize the truth: There is no spoon.

Achuta!

I'm pretty new here! You sent me a wookiee cookie not to long ago for making real life bio articles. I went ahead and made many more. I've looked all around and checked out the default "to do" list from the welcome page and everything, but I'm not sure what else I should do. Shall I keep on with the real bios? Do you have any suggestions about how to get a productive start here? Or anything else I should include on my user page? I'm completely new here and I've never communicated with anyone from this site, so I'm pretty blind to the community here.

Thanks! And MTFBWY Unsigned comment by Noahferfer (talk • contribs)

Thanks for alerting me. I don't have Legacy, but I'll still see what I can do. Chack Jadson (Talk) 13:23, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

Noval Garaint

Hey Greyman. I found another anonymous appearance for this guy. Gotta love Mike Vilardi who so often slips continuity into his artwork. I added a pic although you might like to get a better scan and place it elsewhere within the article. --Eyrezer 07:44, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Thank you

Greyman, I'd like to give you my thanks for nominating me to become an administrator, and for your kind words on the request page. The amount of useful advice, moral support, and instruction in the ways of the wiki that you have given me is simply staggering. Every step of the way for me, from user to Inq to admin, you've been there, and I greatly appreciate it. Our collaborations on articles and in the execution of a highly successful WookieeProject have made me proud to be a contributor. There is no award that can accurately express just how much you've helped me in the past several months. Thank you. -- Graestan(This party's over) 05:15, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

Article review

Hello Greyman. I would really appreciate it if you could look over Joruus C'baoth for me. I'm having no luck so far, and was wondering if you would be so kind as to review it. Thank you. Chack Jadson (Talk) 23:16, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

  • Never mind. I'm going to remove it, and put it up for GA. I'll try again for FA if it passes GA (which I think it should). Chack Jadson (Talk) 13:15, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
    • Thanks for your comments. I will keep the article up for FA, mainly due to your encouragement. I'll do a final check of the prose as soon as I can (likely Saturday) and, regarding Fourdot's comment, all sources have been checked except for the Essential Guide to Characters, which I should have access to tomorrow. Although I doubt any new info is in that book, it's being thorough, and so I'll do my best. Always a pleasure. Chack Jadson (Talk) 00:46, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
      • It's finished. I've checked all sources, and added what I could. Prose fixed, I believe. Tell me what you think. Chack Jadson (Talk) 23:31, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

Graestan would like to wish you a Merry Christmas!

I'd like to thank you all for the friendship, guidance, and support you've given me in the past year. Were it not for people like you, Wookieepedia would not be the success it has become. Keep up the good work! -- Graestan(Talk) 18:35, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

Re:Re:edit count

Hey, yeah, Merry Christmas! No BFD with the edit count, and yes I will deffinately be more mindful of my using my signature! But how do you make your signature contain a link to your userpage? Mine just shows up as black text (Noahferfer). PS: sorry for being such a newbie at Wookieepedia! I'm trying lol, May the Force be with you -Noahferfer 20:12, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

A little help here would be good...

Hey. I was jusy wondering if you could check the Discussion page for the character Gasgano. I have a question there about the character that has gone unanswered for some time now. I'd just like to hear what your point of view on the matter is.

Also I was wondering how I import an image form an outside source, like say My Documents? And also, on a user page, how do you insert the little boxes that say things like "This User Suports The Empire" or "This User Is Christian" (I'm not Christian though, just an example)?

Oh and by the way, a user named The Evil O'malley said some things to you about 'keeping an eye on me'. Yeah, I vandalised a LOTR wiki page, and regreted doing so later (regreted vandalising, not what I said though). I was just pissed off at a guy at school because he was convinced that LOTR is better than Star Wars! Vandalising that wiki made The Evil O'malley get into a constant arguement with me. I belive he was being a tad bit whiney and childish not looking at both sides of the arguement or thinking logicly. Anyway, I was just going to point out the fact that I won't be vandalising the Star Wars Wiki at all, at least not on perpose.

Thanks again.--Maceo 19:54, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

user page polls

I know I should look on a help page, but I didn't find any pages on this subject. How do you make a poll on a user page? Thanks in advance. ~Roger Roger~ Home of the B1s 15:59, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

Image help

I need some help with an image, [[:File:Clone Wars Vol 9 135.jpg]]. I need a better scan of it, but I am unable to do so. If you are able, it is in Star Wars: Purge, very near the end, if not at the end. Thank you for your time. -Solus (Bird of Prey) 20:19, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

Four Stages of the Dark Side

Good evening Greyman,

I noticed that you deleted the entire page I created on Four Stages of the Dark Side without any explanation. I also noticed that you redirected the link to the Dark side of the Force. Any particular reason why? I thought that the Four stages was different than the regular dark side in that it was a Jedi's explanation of how she felt one could and would fall, not an in depth explanation of the dark side or even it's history. Also, I kinda put a lot of effort into creating that, hoping it would be a decent reference article. Because I thought of the dark side and four stages of the dark side as two separate concepts, I thought a separate article was necessary. I would like to put the information back, but I fear it will just be deleted again. If this is something that doesn't comply with website guidlines, can I at least get an explanation of why? I just try to do good and accurate work on the site is all, I don't want to create headaches for any other users. Please advise, thanks. Re:

Thanks! As for my edits, I will be mindful of adding speculation to the articles. Some things sometimes seem to lead to certain conclusions with regards to things in the EU. I will however refrain from drawing my own conclusions, and stick with what is already explicitly stated to be so. I'm not exactly sure what you mean in regards to original research. Is this discouraged? I clicked on the link you provided but no page existed for "original research". Please advise, thanks. Also, Happy New Year!

(UTC)User:Tommy9281, 01/01/08, 11:19pm

Thank you!! And so now, I will go back and source & reference everything I have updated to the best of my ability. (It will take me some time though, but hopefully it will improve the quality of the information provided on this site.) Thanks again.

Dark Side Article

Good Morning Greyman,

I took your advice and added the information from "four stages of the dark side" to the "dark side of the force" article. I subtracted all the unnecessary info (so it was more of a summary within the dark side article & not an article within an article), but I would like to know if you can review the page when convenient for you. I put an "in use" tag on it, in case you feel there is more I need to correct. Please advise, thanks. Tommy 09:54, 2 January 2008 (UTC)User:Tommy9281, 01/02/08, 4:49am
