Mandalore the Ultimate
Hello. I choose to adress you on that matter because of your comment on this page. The real issue with Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide and Abel's comment on it is that Mandalore the Ultimate is not the Taung warrior from TOTJ, who is currently known as Unidentified Taung Mandalore, and is revealed to be the same as Unidentified Mandalore. So, we have one article, which happen to be FA, covering two subjects, and one subject spread over two (or even three) articles. You said you wouldn't be able to check KOTOR CG until November, so I decided to just quote relevant pats of it to you:
- "Helping crush the Sith Empire restores Canderous's honor. In thanks, Revan returns to him the traditional mask of Mandalore, and Canderous sets out to reunite the Mandalorians. In so doing, Canderous happens upon an ailing Taung claiming to be the true Mandalore, and calling Mandalore the Ultimate a usurper with Sith ties. Before dying, this nameless Mandalorian presents his armor and clan to Canderous, asking him to preserve the old ways. Canderous takes the armor for himself, integrating the Mandalore mask into its helmet."
- ―under Canderous Ordo, Mandalore the Preserver
What this Taung claims to be is not necessary what he is, but here comes another entry:
- "Republic observers differ as to when Mandalore the Ultimate rises to power. Some believe he is the Taung warrior who claimed the mantle at the end of the Great Sith War; others are less sure."
- ―under Mandalore the Ultimate
As you can see, this corresponds with info from KOTOR Handbook and opens a way to a retcon. Since NEC is written from IU POV, it could be simply an error of historian, who didn't know the details. With Abel confirming the identity of the Taung as the Unidentified Mandalore, thing look very clear to me. But there's some debate over it, spread over different talk pages. Anyway, I wanted you if not to resolve the matter single-handedly, then at least to be aware of the issue because of FA status problems. Mauser 20:56, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
- No problem, I just wanted you to be aware of things cause I don't want it to be stripped of FA. Mauser 06:45, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
What'chu call me?
Hey,
Thanks very much for the award. Funnily enough, one of the outstanding issues (intro length...ha) remains unresolved, and I recently began to attempt rectifying it, so as to complete the original list of requests. Just a coincidence is all, but I'm around for a minute or two if you are.—Tommy9281 20px (Peace is a lie) 18:17, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Thanks!
- Thanks for the award, Greyman. By the time Cull had finished working over WS, I'd logged off, so your talk page post was the first I had heard of the news, and I was thrilled! Thanks also for helping the user who asked about deleting accounts. Anyway, good hearing from you again, and yes, I will look forward to our future endeavors. Cheers. Chamma
You may have already seen this, but I only just noticed it. John Jackson Miller here identifies the Jedi Master of Chamma. Seeing as he's an FA of your's, you may like to review the blog entry. --Eyrezer 22:47, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
- Cool. I don't actually see anything in the comic that connects this, but it should be ok anyway. --Eyrezer 18:28, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
Re:Great Hyperspace War
Hey, Greyman! That's definitely something I'd be interested in — myself and Grae intended to start on that article but for whatever reason it never really took off, so it would be great to give it another go with you on board. That said, I think I'll probably be reasonably busy leading up to Christmas, so I may not be able to contribute towards it as much as I might have other times. But I would definitely like to be part of the project. :) -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 23:41, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
- I'm in. Tell me where to go and what to do, and you've got me. Who knows, maybe I'll get back into article writing. Graestan(Talk) 14:02, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
RE: Lower Case
Thanks for your notice. I did check the game files for KotOR I and II and absolutely every word is capitalized, same thing for the Prima guide for KotOR II. But when I looked into the Campaign guide the capitalization is usually first word, the way it's here on Wookieepedia. So I was wondering if I should use the Campaign guide as reference since its the newest publication. Thanks. * Cylka * 19:45, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
- Hey Greyman. I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to answer my question. Its really nice to know that there are senior members who don't find it beneath them to answer noobie questions : ) * Cylka * 18:08, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
User infobox
Hey Greyman. My name is Jayce Carver. I was wondering if you could help me with my userpage? I'm trying to use the User infobox. I put it on the page and filled out all the details, but all I get is a link to the templates page. Do you know a fix for this? If so I would be very gratefull if you could help. Jayce Carver 17:14, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
Thank you so much, I owe you. Jayce Carver 20:26, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
Archiving
Ah, sorry. I absolutely suck at remembering to archive stuff, but I'll make a note of it for the future. Chack Jadson (Talk) 19:11, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
Re: um...
I'm experimenting with it, and I didn't want to mess up the current infobox while I'm goofing around. I figure I'll just replace the old with the new when I get it straightened out. - Trip 21:48, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

Hey...Why did you delete the page that I was writing? I was working on that!

Heads up
I see you blocked User:Greenwoman as a sockpuppet. I thought you might want to also check out User:Greywoman which seems likely to be the same individual. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 13:21, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
RE:Staff
Ok, I won't edit it. But I think you should put some kind of notice on it, so everybody knew the purpose of the page.QuiGonJinnThe ability to speak does not make you intelligent.20px 14:49, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

Sockpuppet
I'd like to report a sockpuppet. User:Aayla Secura Is Beautiful. (note the period at the end of the username) is an obvious sockpuppet of User:Aayla Secura is Beautiful. It also looks like User:Orange Twi'lek girl and User:Naughty Oola may be sockpuppets as well. 72.79.221.97 00:18, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads up. The user's were not actually the same people, per se, but they did turn out to be sockpuppets nonetheless of other usernames. I've taken care of them. Thanks again, Greyman(Talk) 00:35, 13 November 2008 (UTC)

Question
I've been skimming through some of the creature categories and moving some articles like Bloodfin (animal) to Bloodfin (creature) per the recent CT, but I was wondering, would you say the CT decision also applies to moving articles like Krill (crustacean), Rock dragon (predator), Ripclaw (Alderaan) and similar articles to (creature) names, or should they be left where they are? Also, I saw a few articles that have (lizard) or (bird) at the end of the title, does the CT apply to them as well? I wanted to be sure before I do anything. Gray Jedi 01:01, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the help. I think I'll start moving some of the articles. If Silly Dan disagrees, I'm sure he'll let me know. I probably won't move too many tonight anyway, so if there is any disagreement there won't be many articles to move back. Gray Jedi 02:06, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
- I've gone through a couple categories, and I think that's all I'll do for tonight. I wasn't sure what to do with Chiba (pet), so I left it alone for now (since it is an article for a specific pet, not a species I'm not sure if it requires a move). Also, I noticed that some categories have "animal" titles (for example, "extinct animals"), should those categories be moved to "creature" titles, like "extinct creatures" to fit with the CT? If so, I'm guessing only an admin can do it, since I don't see move tabs on categories. Gray Jedi 03:46, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
Principals
Not to nit-pick, but the "principals" you're looking for are spelt principles. SingAurraSing 02:55, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
To clarify, "principals" are the school administrators, while "principles" are values one holds. SingAurraSing 02:58, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
Sorry, I'm not trying to rant, it's just that I wasn't sure if I would be allowed to fix your page, or whether you would object to it, and your page is very professional, so I thought that you wouldn't mind a little proofreading. SingAurraSing 03:04, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
Advertising Myself
Anyone write stories? 'Cause i do, and i want someone for hire to be the reader of the story i finish so I can see if it's good enough or not. My fan club at a college think i do fine, but i like other opinions, also.

You can hire me for $3 a page. I'll be honest.SinisterSamurai 04:36, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
Another question
I think I've got most of the pages moved, but I ran into a few pages I couldn't move: Leviathan (Arrakan), Strider (Sedesia), and Glider (lizard) couldn't be moved becuase there are already articles for other creatures located at "creature" titles (such as Leviathan (creature)). I'm not sure what I should do about those articles. Any thoughts?
Also, I don't know if you saw my last question in my previous message, so I'll ask again. Do you think categories like Category:Flying animals and Category:Domesticated animals should be moved to "creature" names? Gray Jedi 21:18, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks. There are 7 categories and over 800 articles between them, so I think a bot is in order. I'll create the new categories (hopefully no one deletes them before they are populated), then I'll contact Xwing and ask if he can have a bot recategorize all the articles.
- One more quick question, I didn't think it was necessary to move any articles about specific individual creatures (Tosh (rancor), for example) to 'creature' titles because they are about individual creatures, rather than whole species, so I left them where they were. Would you agree that those articles are fine at their original titles, and don't require a move? Gray Jedi 05:03, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
Re: "Fumi"
Oh, you made that article? Sorry, can't help but be defensive about Marvel articles. Whoops, I'll be more courteous in the future. Nice summary of that issue on Lando's page by the way. That is...I think you wrote it. :P Cull Tremayne 21:43, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
Re:Big Pimpin'
- Thanks Aaron! I saw that but didn't get to catch in IRC that day, and I was out of town for the weekend. Anyway, I'm working on a final copyedit of the article that I hope to finish Sunday or Monday, and it should be g2g if we can find Skreej info. On the Nagai-Tof war, I didn't have one in particular—maybe Nagais and Dolls or My Hiromi, but otherwise, take your pick. We just need to fill that section. Thanks for the other uploads and all your hard work. Atarumaster88 20px (Talk page) 03:50, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

Hi. The article you just created has already been written as Ne'tra gal. Dunno which one is the correct one though. --ToRsO bOy 18:51, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
Re: Redirects
Its a cannon term, and it should redirect to the page which covers it? It is a slang term in both Marvel and the WEG RPG. cheersJustinGann 22:11, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
Marvel slang
I am currently trying to index any and every canon term, character, etc. in the Marvel series 1-101. So expect a lot of Marvel slang;)JustinGann 22:14, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
