Qrrrl Toq

Hey Grey, I meant no ill will from copying that stuff. I had pasted it there as a reference point for me to work off of since the information would practically be the same. Maybe because I am a programmer and think of things in terms of being re-usable. Boogachamp(Oh hai) 13:56, 01 September 2007 (UTC)

Tohno

Well, regarding the new picture of Tohno's lightsaber I added, do you think we could rearrange the pictures on Tohno's article just a bit, so my picture can be there but not make it look cluttered. Darth Vatrir

Contributing

I noticed that there isn't very much stuff to do here (as in editing articles), and I was wondering if there is anything that I can do (beside editing my userpage)? I would love to contribute here, but I don't know what I can do here that hasn't already been done. LethalReflex 01:54, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

User Groups

I noticed halopedia has user groups such as the UNSC of Halopedia, Covenant of Halopedia, Forerunners of Halopedia, Gamers of Halopedia, Group Policy, and the Parasite of Halopedia, and I was wondering if there are any user groups here at wookieepedia. If there aren't any, are they against the rules? LethalReflex 02:06, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

Sepan Civil War

Hm, perhaps you should check it ;) On the Sepan campaign article, it makes no references at all to the GCW - in fact, it's categorized under the "Conflict" section, rather than a battle of the GCW category. And it's listed as "Concurrent" with the GCW in the table at the top. Furthermore, the campaign involved solely the Empire and the Sepan factions - Dimok and Ripoblus - whom had nothing to do with the Rebellion. The Sepan Civil War was its own, isolated civil war between two warring factions on Sepan. The Rebellion had nothing to do with it. And since the Sepan campaign involved the Empire bringing order to Sepan, and had nothing to do with the Rebellion, then it can't be a part of the GCW because the GCW was a war fought between the Rebellion and the Empire. The Sepan Civil War was its own little conflict that happened to take place during the GCW. It's just like the Nagai-Tof War - it happened during the GCW, but wasn't actually a part of the GCW. Hence, the Sepan campaign shouldn't have its own section on the GCW page since it wasn't an actual campaign of the GCW. --Danik Kreldin 20:15, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

  • I already checked it, hence why I reverted your edit. So, thanks for trying. Greyman(Paratus) 20:44, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
    • So then mind explaining how you reason the Sepan Civil War to be a part of the GCW, based on what's in the article and known about the War? --Danik Kreldin 20:51, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
      • Not particularly, I did it after discussing it with other administrators on IRC and there was a consensus. Feel free to revert it, cause basically that's the point of a wiki—anyone can edit. Also, please take this to the Galactic Civil War talk page, as this doesn't belong here and I won't reply further. Greyman(Paratus) 20:54, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

Wookieepedia:Quote of the Day/In-Universe

I noticed my votes were removed from the Wookieepedia:Quote of the Day/In-Universe page. Why? LethalReflex 18:59, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Regarding This

Just a quick, no-holds-barred apology. IMHO, you're entirely entitled to "complain", within a context of rational discussion—so I want to automatically apologize for any unintended slight that you read into my comment. --McEwok 12:42, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

*ahem*

After I rephrased my response to your complaint, you reverted to an earlier version, and then archived the version you'd reverted to.

For the record, the final version of what I wrote, the version I left to stand on this page, is as follows:

"This is a misunderstanding: IMHO, you're entirely entitled to "complain", within a context of rational discussion—so no slight was intended in my comment.
If I owe an apology for the misunderstanding, though, then consider it given without reservation.
"
―McEwok

Feel free to archive this note, just to explain why the one above it in the archive takes the form that it does. ;) --McEwok 17:07, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

  • Explained on IRC why I reverted it as you altered your original post. You should have just commented after the original post if you had something else to say. Understand? My talk page isn't there for you to write and save several drafts....use the preview button. And if you change your mind afterwards, then *add* to the post *after* your original comment—don't simply rewrite a post, simply add to it. This ends here, btw.Greyman(Paratus) 17:23, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Dagu

Escape from dagu is canon stupid look into it before reverting anything Unsigned comment by Asajj (talk • contribs)

  • I reverted it due to the fact that it was written in complete present tense. I was working on putting it in past tense when I saw your personal attack against me on my userpage. I honestly don't care if it's canon or not...we have specific policies for both, and when your block is up, feel free to add it back in per our Manual of Style as I can't be bothered doing it now. However, the way which you went about bringing it to my attention is what led to your block. Greyman(Paratus) 22:27, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Valara Saar

Good evening. Regarding the Valara Saar article:

I accidentally copied the wrong set of changes into the file when it uploaded. It is sourced, now. In the process of rectifying my mistake, I expanded the introductory paragraph. I hope this helps. I am curious, however, what you mean by being "possible to get a P&T and P&A out her information." I'm not sure what P&T and P&A is - or maybe I just don't recall. Thanks! Master Aban Fiolli (Alpheridies University ComNet) 20px 01:13, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

  • No problem. I've never seen them abbreviated like that before. I'm not sure how to get that out of this particular article. There really isn't much in the Wizards articles to outright support that unless you take the feats and abilities that an RPG player can use. I'm not sure that is exactly canon, so I wouldn't want to mention it unless I found out otherwise. Do you notice any other issues with the article? Thanks again! Dialogue

I have this conversation that I need to be put into a dialogue, but I can't seem to make it work. Could you help me?

"HK-47: Query: Is there someone that you need killed, Master?

Jedi Exile: HK, do you know what "love" is?

HK-47: Answer: Many organic meatbags find that question difficult to answer, Master, but I believe I can provide you with a satisfactory definition... Definition: "Love" is making a shot to the knees of a target 120 kilometers away using an Aratech sniper rifle with a trilight scope.

Jedi Exile: Then I don't think I've ever been in love.

HK-47: Statement: This definition, I am told, is is subject to interpretation. Obviously love is a matter of odds... Not many meatbags could make such a shot, and strangely enough, not many meatbags would derive love from it... Yet for me, love is having your target, putting them in your targeting reticule, and together achieving a singular purpose... against statistically long odds." When I tried doing that it turned out like this:

HK-47: "Query: Is there someone that you need killed, Master?"
Jedi Exile: "HK, do you know what "love" is?"
HK-47: "Answer: Many organic meatbags find that question difficult to answer, Master, but I believe I can provide you with a satisfactory definition... Definition: "Love" is making a shot to the knees of a target 120 kilometers away using an Aratech sniper rifle with a trilight scope."
Jedi Exile: "Then I don't think I've ever been in love."
HK-47: "Statement: This definition, I am told, is is subject to interpretation. Obviously love is a matter of odds... Not many meatbags could make such a shot, and strangely enough, not many meatbags would derive love from it... The New Essential Probe Droids

Hi Greyman. I wanted to ask some assistance of you reagarding this article 13-K. I actually own the Comic book in which that Droid was featured, and from what I could gather from the comic, 13-K was the only prototype of his class and no other models were built. But I also see that something that was called "Infiltrator probe droid" was mentioned on The New Essential Guide to Droids, and since I am on the middle of a personal project of working each and everyone of the droid articles on the Wookiee, I wanted to see if you could help me with the information that the NEGD has on the "Infiltrator probe droid" so that if anything needs to be changed or re-categorized on that article, I would be able to do it. I ask you this because I saw that you own the book and well.. ther is zero probability that I can get my hands on that book where I live, so it would be a great help if you could post on my Talk page or here, what does the book actually says about the "Infiltrator probe droids", thanks.
