Gliders were lizard-like carnivores native to Orellon II They had a cape of skin between their limbs which allowed them to silently glide through the air from the trees that they resided in and onto their prey.[1]
They were intelligent, perhaps quasi-sentient, and hunted in packs. One glider would attack a herd of prey to make them enter into a state of panic whereupon the rest of the gliders attacks seconds later.[1]
Gliders had excellent visual senses as well as auditory and olfactory ones.[1]
