Warning: Attribution

Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that at least one of your recent additions added unverified information to a mainspace article. Additions to Wookieepedia's articles must be verifiable by a reliable source per our sourcing policy, and unverified information may be reverted or deleted. Continuing to add unverified information may lead to you being blocked from editing by an administrator. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 18:03, September 10, 2019 (UTC)

Verifying

Hello! I think you might not be getting the hang of what you need to do to verify things. For example on Ion-flux cooling system all you need to do is list the sources that use that term, or something different if it is an alternative name. I know that it is mentioned in Star Wars: The Force Awakens: Incredible Cross-Sections and TIE Fighter Owners' Workshop Manual, so if you add them to a sources section and clean up the page a bit, all will be good. Please feel free to ask if you need any help with anything/have any questions --Lewisr (talk) 18:32, September 10, 2019 (UTC)

Droid brains

Hey, thanks for your enthusiasm of editing the Separatist starfighters! However, I just have a small point for your edit on Variable Geometry Self-Propelled Battle Droid, Mark I. You put information about droid brains in the introduction, but that was not sourced. All information in the intro needs to be sourced, or it needs to be mentioned and sourced in the main body of the page. The part about droid brains was not mentioned elsewhere or sourced.--Editoronthewiki (talk) 14:39, February 23, 2020 (UTC)

  • The same is true for you saying droid tri-fighters are agile--Editoronthewiki (talk) 14:42, February 23, 2020 (UTC)

How exactly do I go about sourcing the infomation added? --Commander Bhatoa (talk) 17:18, February 23, 2020 (UTC)

VisualEditor

  • Hello! I see that you are using Wookieepedia's VisualEditor to edit articles. Whilst that is not a bad thing, a more precise way of editing would be using the Source editor, which I highly recommend for the purpose of editing articles without too much of a fuss.
However daunting it may seem at first, viewing articles—such as Anakin Skywalker—with the Source editor could give you an idea of how the wiki-markup works.
(See the source of this by clicking "Edit" on this talk page after adjusting your preferances to Source editor instead of Visual!)
Hope this helps, may the Force be with you! - - -CIS roundel OOM 224 ༼༽{talk}༼༽ 15:48, February 23, 2020 (UTC)

Lucky Lekku

Hello, Commander Bhatoa. I'd like to make you aware of the precedents that are used when it comes to writting starship or vehicle pages. Unless a source specifically states that all members of that starship class were manufactured by the same company, Rothana Heavy Engineering, for example, then please, do not include on the page that it was because Star Wars Complete Vehicles, New Edition does not confirm that, per Grievous's frigate, Battlecruiser 17 or Redeemer. Another thing, all specifications for a ship are of the same situation. We can only confirm a starship or vehicle has such specifications based on either visuals or confirmation from sources that says "Lucky Lekku was equipped with a composite-beam laser," which unless that is the case, we can only use notes like I've been putting for its measurements and weapons. If you have any questions regarding anything, please don't hesitate to ask me. Erebus Chronus (Talk) 18:23, 14 January 2022 (UTC)

Archive links

Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that at least one of your recent additions added an external link without including a backup link. Our Sourcing policy mandates the inclusion of a permanent archival link in all external links. Instructions for doing this can be found on the respective citation template pages, and you are welcome to join our Discord server to ask for assistance. Tarkin's Top Shelf

Hello there! I just wanted to reach out as a courtesy to fill you in on why Tarkin's Top Shelf is currently under Trash Compactor review, which is a review for deletion. Wookieepedia has a policy regarding the notability of fan content, which can be found at Wookieepedia:Notability of fan projects. As it stands there doesn't appear to be any indication that the article meets those requirements, so unfortunately I flagged it for review. I understand that the article was made in good faith and it's certainly of good quality, so it's courteous to at least inform you of why the review is being done. Per Dani's vote on the review thread, if the podcast is a project you are personally involved with, feel free to document it on your user page should the deletion vote pass. Apologies once again and thank you for your contributions. - Thannus (DFaceG) (he/him) (talk) 17:12, 16 March 2024 (UTC)

Imr

Hi there! Just to let you know, per Forum:CT:File revision deletion tweak, old image versions can only be deleted if they violate policy. Lower quality versions should be kept, similar to how regular articles' histories are permanent. I saw you left {{Imr}} on two images, and I cannot see any prior versions which violate policy. Please let me know if I'm missing something, but in future please be aware of this change. Thank you! Tommy-Macaroni (he/they) 17:49, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
