Tarkin's Top Shelf is a Star Wars-centric podcast with a focus on novels. It debuted in 2016 on January 11 and has released over 300 individual episodes. The podcast was offered a stage during Celebration Orlando and Celebration Chicago.

History

Tarkin's Top Shelf started in January of 2016,[2] with hosts Becca Benjamin and Mark Sutter, and is focused on novels. The podcast's objective was later characterized as striving "to bring 'book awareness' to the Star Wars fandom by showcasing the stories that happen off-screen".[1] Currently 300 episodes have been produced in total.[3]

Star Wars Celebration

During Celebration Orlando, set between April 13 and 16 in 2017,[4] Benjamin and Sutter gained the opportunity to present Tarkin's Top Shelf at the Celebration Podcast Stage between 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM on April 13.[5]

Two years later, during Celebration Chicago, set between April 11 and 15 in 2019,[6] the podcast was one of the applicant offered to broadcast on the Podcast Stage,[1] with their spot set between 2:00 PM and 2:45 PM on April 12.[7]
