Canon articles
So I am wondering why can't I copy and paste Canon Material into the Canon article from a legends Article.Jedi Knight Fett (talk) 02:51, February 8, 2015 (UTC) Jedi Knight Fett
Bad Batch
Hey CC. Replying to this, I'd make two points to see what your thoughts are:
- In The Clone Wars Legacy video, Pablo Hidalgo said that Lucasfilm considers all unaired stories from the show to be canon. Wouldn't that make this worthy of a canon tag?
- If not, we should also remove the Legends tag. Because if what I said about canon in Point #1 is incorrect, tagging it as Legends is equally incorrect.
Let me know what you think. Thanks! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 21:13, February 22, 2015 (UTC)
- Fair enough, but I feel like what you just said is actually justification for removing the pages entirely. If the Bad Batch series of pages can't be labeled canon because their writer isn't an official or canon source (you drew a distinction between the two), then the logical conclusion for that would seem to be that we don't have an official source for those pages at all. Not that I'm actually advocating for their removal. This is just to illustrate a point. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 21:38, February 22, 2015 (UTC)

Duel on Zanbar
Hey. Regarding this edit, I believe "Duel on Zanbar" is actually a mistake. If you read the descriptive text beneath "Duel on Zanbar" in Ultimate Star Wars, it's referring to Second battle of Dathomir. I believe they meant to say "Duel on Dathomir." - Brandon Rhea(talk) 01:25, April 30, 2015 (UTC)
- According to the glossary, that's the only reference to Zanbar. There are a few mistakes in this book (understandable since it's so comprehensive), and it's clear by the text that this was meant to refer to "Duel on Dathomir." I think we should revert the edit to the page until if/when we see "Duel on Zanbar" used again elsewhere. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 01:30, April 30, 2015 (UTC)

Re: Doom in Tiplar's article
I'll take a look at those few minutes of the episode again as a refresher, to see what the relevant Doom/Tiplee interaction may be (beyond just a passing mention in the article). I'll then update the page. Nice catch. Also, great job on Template:Canon Clone Wars. Looks awesome. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 16:45, May 31, 2015 (UTC)
- I just watched the Ringo Vinda sequence in "The Unknown" to check for anything relating to Doom that might be noteworthy in the Tiplee article. Other than also being present at the battle and the pre-battle briefing, as well as commanding at least some of the forces, there's no real connection between them. I'm not sure there's anything of note to add. What do you think? - Brandon Rhea(talk) 01:29, June 1, 2015 (UTC)

Clone commandos
The reason I moved the page to Clone Republic Commando was because it seems to be the most official name we have been provided. The fact that they are usually referred to as "clone commandos" is still represented within the article. The name is also used on Gregor's concept art. It is similar to why we use Confederacy of Independent Systems instead of Separatist Alliance. While the latter appears more often within canon, CIS is the more official sound between the two. Republic commando is also used to refer to the group. In short, I believe it may be good to wait and see what public opinion has to say on the matter before we revert. EDIT:Actually, since you seem to be good at uploading images, could you get a good cap of the emblem on Gregor's chestplate? Alternatively, there is a clean version available in the MIA episode guide concept art gallery. - AV-6R7User talk:AV-6R7 04:09, June 8, 2015 (UTC)
- Well, I sniped Volpai all the way back in march before it was used in Dark Disciple, the first written use the name outside of concept art. I digress, it is done. - AV-6R7User talk:AV-6R7 04:19, June 8, 2015 (UTC)
I'll find a place for it on Gregor's page then. - AV-6R7User talk:AV-6R7 15:45, June 8, 2015 (UTC)

RE: Edits to CT-1284
Hey CC, just wanted to say thanks for the heads-up regarding my edits to the CT-1284 page. It was, in truth, my first major edit on the Wikia, and I'm still familiarising myself with its templates.
You were certainly right in both cases, and I'll keep them in mind in future. I'm intending to beef up a lot more of the canon TCW pages, particularly those for characters - so no doubt I'll see you around again! --WilkZnika (talk) 11:00, June 17, 2015 (UTC)
Slick
Hey CC. I'm currently writing Slick. I saw on the Legends page that Brain Invaders is listed as an indirect mention. Do you recall what that mention was? Thanks! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 18:10, June 17, 2015 (UTC)
- Perfect. Thanks! I'll add that as a legacy. On the note about legacy, do you think it's worth referencing the fact that Slick was somewhat right about being used as slaves? Not as slaves by the Jedi, necessarily, but that they were bred with the bio-chip to ultimately help destroy the Jedi. I'm thinking that could be too much of a stretch but I wanted to get your thoughts. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 21:10, June 17, 2015 (UTC)

Hunt for Ziro
Here's another thing I'd like to get your opinion on. I was about to create canon pages for [[Mission to Nal Hutta (Jedi)]] and Showdown on Teth when it occurred to me that the two might be better suited as one page with the conjectural title "Mission to capture Ziro Desilijic Tiure" (with the canon page being "Mission to capture Ziro" or "Mission to capture Ziro the Hutt." The mission to Nal Hutta article contains no actual conflict and no independent resolution, as the conflict and resolution occurs on Teth.
Alternatively, because Showdown on Teth is given as a name in Legends, the Legends information could all be merged into Showdown on Teth, while the canon page is called "Mission to capture Ziro."
Ultimately I see no need for two pages, especially when the Nal Hutta mission page isn't really a conflict in and of itself. What do you think? - Brandon Rhea(talk) 23:56, June 17, 2015 (UTC)
- I'd see it more like one long event that takes place on multiple planets, rather than the just an event on Teth that has a prelude on Nal Hutta. Does that work? If not I can go with your suggestion. Additionally, another question I just thought of would be the article's point of view. By that I mean, whose mission is it? Is it Obi-Wan and Vos' mission to find Ziro, or is it also Cad Bane's mission to find Ziro? - Brandon Rhea(talk) 01:28, June 19, 2015 (UTC)
- Alright. I'll merge [[Mission to Nal Hutta (Jedi)]] into a prelude on Showdown on Teth, since that's a name given in a source, and then I'll create Showdown on Teth to match. Also, thanks for re-adding the nickname template to Slick - forgot about that. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 01:43, June 19, 2015 (UTC)
- The merge is done. The Showdown on Teth article is still super bad, but nothing that can't be worked on. Additionally, because Mission to Nal Hutta (Death Watch) is now the only article with the title "Mission to Nal Hutta," I figured I'd recommend that you go ahead and move that to Mission to Nal Hutta. I'd do so but I can't delete the disambig page. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 02:04, June 19, 2015 (UTC)
- No problem. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 02:16, June 19, 2015 (UTC)

Grand Hutt Council and Separatist Senate
Hey. Just FYI, the reason I went with the aforementioned titles was because I actually counted the references to those subjects in the available sources. Grand Hutt Council and Separatist Senate were both used more times. For Separatist Senate in particular, I laid that out on the talk page, where you can see how many times each one was used. So it wasn't a case of being different for the sake of being different. It was a case of going in the direction that the sources went in. Hope that clears things up. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 04:28, June 20, 2015 (UTC)

TCW Canon Sources
Hello again CC. Just had a quick question on a few canon references/sources for TCW material, since I can't find any 'official' ruling on the matter and I'm seeing conflicting things in different articles. For reference, all my links will be related to the TCW episode Cat and Mouse.
First off, I'm assuming the Episode Guides (as seen on the previous version of StarWars.com, and now all archived) are non-canon, but I just wanted to double-check.
And finally, I know that the listings for each episode on the new SW website are considered canon, but how about the Episode Gallery for the same episode, which is linked on that very page? Is that considered canon also? There is often valuable information that captions each image, which would be useful as a reference if it's considered canon.
Thanks for your time! --WilkZnika (talk) 08:22, June 21, 2015 (UTC)
On the One Sith
Ok, so on the One Sith almost-edit-war. At current, I don't have a prose section in place, and nor do I have time to do so, but I hope to do so down the road. Without the information in the list, I wouldn't know where to start, the categories are a disorganized mess where one has to go three lays deeper in poorly organized form to even get the names.
The consensus track: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Forum:CT_Archive/Return_of_the_Lists Strongly agreed with Trop that lists aren't banned, but prose is preferred.
So... can you revert it to list-on and tell Trip and Cade to knock it off, and that lists aren't banned? Because I don't want to get banned for trying to put in info that's nigh-inaccessible without 'em, but those two are acting as if lists are banned outright despite the consensus. WOTM nomination
Hey. If you accept, I would like to nominate you for Wookieepedian of the Month once the current nomination period is archived. You've done a great job in creating all of the major canonical events of the Clone Wars, which is amplified further by the fact that you had already created many of those pages for Legends. Considering that and your other ongoing TCW-related work, including the canon version of Rex (itself a version of a Legends FAN you already wrote, which is really impressive), I think you're the ideal candidate for the next WOTM. Are you interested? - Brandon Rhea(talk) 21:42, June 29, 2015 (UTC)

Fang Zar in "Voices
Hey CC. I just noticed last month that you added "Voices" to the appearances list on Fang Zar's page. I was just curious as to which part of the episode he appeared in, as I had no spotted him before. Also, just something to keep in mind for the future, remember to add the character to the appearances list of the actual episode's page as well; it can get a bit troublesome when trying to keep track of when certain things appear if it's only listed on one of the pages, and not the other. Thanks! Cevan (talk) 16:07, July 4, 2015 (UTC)
TCW Story Reels
Hey, something came to my attention while reading Dark Disciple. The book neglects to describe the confrontation between Boba Fett's hunters and Dooku on Serenno, however, a story reel revealed at the Untold Clone Wars panel does depict this scene. Notably the reel confirms that by this point in the war Boba Fett has his Mandalorian armor, something the book doesn't mention. Would the reel still count as canon for the purposes of this site like the Utapau and Bad Batch arcs, or would it be in a different category due to not being included in the adaptation? The Shadow Emperor (talk) 02:27, July 9, 2015 (UTC)
- To add to this, would using pictures from the Moregi chase scene shown at SWCA be permitted? Every single thing in that scene happens precisely as it does in the book. Cevan (talk) 02:52, July 9, 2015 (UTC)

Re: Canon notability policy
Ah all right, I understand. Just curious, what about pages like Dooku's palace (not the best example as this has been corrected, but it should help illustrate what I'm saying)? Prior to today, it had a conjectural title tag but still existed for quite some time. Now, although I found out today that it is identified as "Dooku's palace" in Dark Disciple, the page has been active for a while without confirmation of its name. Was this just missed and never removed or something?
I'll be sure to keep this in mind for the future though. I do think though there could be some small changes made to this rule, as I'm sure there are still many things from The Clone Wars that have not received canon names thus far but are still worthy of having a page created for them, but of course this is up to what others here think as well. Thanks! Cevan (talk) 19:42, July 20, 2015 (UTC)
Star Wars: Uprising alpha appearances
Hey CC. Alpha testing for Star Wars: Uprising recently became available, and as such I'd like to add more to the appearances section of Uprising. However, I wanted to consult you prior to going ahead and adding things. Since only a limited number of people can currently play the game, and it's not officially out to the entire public yet, how should I go about citing new appearances? Should I just cite the game itself, or should I just not cite anything since the game is, in a sense, available? Thanks. Cevan (talk) 03:52, July 22, 2015 (UTC)

Rig Nema's lightsaber
Hi there CC. I'd like to ask you about something/present an issue I had yesterday. You see, I created the article Rig Nema's lightsaber/Canon yesterday because it has an officially confirmed name here in the caption of the second image of the concept art gallery. I used references, categories, and even got a picture of it for the page, however just after creating the page it was promptly deleted by Cade Calrayn. I inquired as to why he did so on his talk page, and asked him why the article Neebo's lightsaber exists as that doesn't even have a confirmed name and is onscreen for less time (he hasn't answered me despite making numerous edits since I asked). I'd like a second admin opinion on this. Since Rig Nema's lightsaber actually has a confirmed name in canon, doesn't that automatically make it deserving of an article? Isn't the entire purpose of Wookieepedia to document everything in the Star Wars universe especially things that have officially confirmed names. Thanks. Cevan (talk) 15:47, July 23, 2015 (UTC)

New page infoboxes
Hi CC7567, I noticed you created a new page, TJ55/Canon, possibly copy/pasting the Legends page. Unfortunately, it has popped up in a maintenance category as it was missing parameters in the infobox, the same the legends page is missing. I have fixed it in this instance, but please keep it in mind next time you create an article - it is best to use the standard preloads located below the main edit box. Doing this ensures nothing is missed and you can fill the infobox with all the relevant information. It also means the article isn't edited by a second, third or fourth person to correct very minor issue. Additionally, there are over 14,000 articles with this issue, which I am slowly fixing. This takes time, and even if I do 10 articles a day (on average), it will still take a couple years to get them all, without that number increasing due to new articles. Nothing too major so don't stress, just some advice for future reference :) Have a great weekend! Manoof (talk) 05:26, July 31, 2015 (UTC)

The Chosen One
Hello, I'm here to provide evidence that Anakin brought balance to the force twice.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHoMZX2vlnE
At the 20 minute mark, the Father says this: "You are the Chosen One. You have brought balance to this world. Stay on this path, and you will do it again for the galaxy. But beware... your... heart..."
Additionally, the Wookieepedia page [[1]] says this: "Shaken by remorse, the Son recovered and made peace with his father, just before being run through by Anakin’s lightsaber. With his dying breath, the Father proclaimed Anakin the Chosen One since he successfully brought balance back to Mortis but warned him to beware his inner self, lest he bring doom to the galaxy."

Hey there. Tope told me that he had tasked you to check the changes to referencing made by me to some of the TCW articles. What do you think about them? Any advice on how to word it better? Also, I've noticed that a large number of other TCW-based status articles still use The Essential Reader's Companion as a source for dates, so those should be fixed as well. I'll try to help with them if I can, but it should probably become WP:TCW's next primary focus. QuiGonJinn (Talk) 10:27, September 13, 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads-up. I've added it to the article now. QuiGonJinn

2.2 Updated with new information
Hey CC7567, I happen to come across what the Level 4-6 Rebel transport is in the Star Wars: Commander game. How I found out is because I am a part of the official Star Wars: Commander forums that are hosted by Disney Interactive on Playdom Forums. On one of the threads, a game developer confirmed that the transport is an E-9 Explorer. Here is the link to the exact thread right here: https://www.playdomforums.com/showthread.php?178471-Units-Origins-from-a-Galaxy-Far-Far-Away/page3 .
And here is the link to an image of the E-9 Explorer taken in the game: http://oi60.tinypic.com/2zf8tgk.jpg

Xexto/Canon nom
I know you don't wish to be messaged concerning nominations, but I responded to your objection on Xexto's nomination over a month ago. I would appreciate it if you would check it out. - AV-6R7Crew Pit 00:25, October 9, 2015 (UTC)
CR-20 and CR25 troop carriers confirmed as Canon, via Star Wars: Commander developer
Hello again CC7567! I went ahead and added a Canon entry for the E-9 Explorer not too long ago, but I wanted to give you another heads up on another set of confirmation regarding two different vehicles and the Strix, owned by Sarponza, in Star Wars: Commander. The same developer that confirmed that the Rebel's Level 4-6 transport being an E-9 Explorer also confirmed that the Rebel transport which carries over vehicles from the Factory structure is actually CR25 troop carrier from Star Wars: Republic Commando. He also confirmed the Canon existence of the CR-20 troop carrier from the Star Wars: Clone Wars micro series, he confirmed it by confirming that the Strix is a CR-20 troop carrier that Sarponza happened to heavily modify...
So, I am going to go make some new entries for those right now, but I want to give you a heads up on what I am doing specifically since I am paying really close attention to Star Wars: Commander.

Lost Commanders
Hi, I just noticed that you were editing articles based on information from an episode of Star Wars Rebels to be released later today. I was just curious as to how you managed to watch the episode early, or at least if there's some trailer that I haven't been able to see yet. Comm. Boots (talk) 21:20, October 14, 2015 (UTC)
- Ah, I should have known. Thanks for answering my question! Comm. Boots (talk) 21:31, October 14, 2015 (UTC)

Hi there CC! As an admin over on another wiki, I would like to know if the template for banned users here is automatic or if it is admin-posted.

RPS-6 rocket launcher link
Hey CC. When you have a moment, could you update the link to "Sienar shoulder-launched missile" on your workbench to "RPS-6 rocket launcher/Canon|RPS-6 rocket launcher"? I've been updating the links for it and the one on your workbench is the last one. Thanks! Cevan (talk) 20:30, October 22, 2015 (UTC)

Infoboxes
Hello!
I would like to ask whether our Wiki can borrow infoboxes from Wookieepedia?

Rebels
With the Rebels project, is it really necessary to have each characters actions in each episode broken down on each of their pages? It adds a lot of text that really doesn't do much except get in the way of actual information.

Sectors
Hi! I was wondering, can the names and the maps of the sectors be considered canon since they come directly from StarWars.com? http://www.starwars.com/news/star-wars-the-essential-atlas-online-companion Darth Pythonis (Talk) 23:33, December 23, 2015 (UTC)
Re: FFG info request for Kharrus
Here is the paragraph that mentions him. Most of the new info would be best suited to a legacy section.
| Source: Strongholds of Resistance | |
| During the Clone Wars, Kinyen's beloved Senator Kharrus was murdered by pirates while on a diplomatic mission to Florrum. Rival Gran from Malastare blocked the appointment of a replacement, citing Kinyen's close Separatist ties via the Trade Federation. Isolated from the Republic, and pressured to throw in with the Separatists, Kinyen actsed as an orbital staging area for Separatist attacks Rimward along the Corellian Trade Spine.
After the Clone Wars, Kinyen surrendered without resistance to the newly formed Galactic Empire. The Empire, like the Separatists before it, used Kinyen as an orbital staging area for its Western Reaches campaign three years after the declaration of the New Order. | |

Canon
Can you please explain what the canon articles should entail? It seems to me that most of them have simply been cast down to stubs with all of their former sections, including history, etc. removed. --Hntr.peters (talk) 21:57, December 30, 2015 (UTC)
