Description
The drink consisted of an orange fluid with staining properties. On the planet Lanupa, it was served in stemmed glasses with a piece of green fruit perched on the rim.[1]
History
During the New Republic Era, the drink was served in[1] the Skull Ridge Mountain Hotel & Spa,[2] located on the planet Lanupa.[1] Around 9 ABY,[3] the hotel was visited by Jod Na Nawood, a Force-sensitive pirate who traveled around the galaxy alongside the[1] Skeleton Crew[4]—a group of four younglings who had accidentally lost their home planet At Attin and found themselves lost. Intrigued by the children's homeworld, Na Nawood undertook to locate the planet. To that end,[1] he[5] was looking for Captain Rennod's Lair, which was allegedly located in the hotel.[1]
Upon their arrival, Jod introduced the Skeleton Crew younglings as the "Wise Elders" while being greeted by the hotelier and soon the guests underwent a routine check. Having his knife confiscated by a bellhop, Na Nawood was handed a glass of the drink, which he found "fair" after his first sip. The[1] man[6] continued drinking the beverage as the hotelier led him and the Skeleton Crew through the hotel's lobby. When the hotelier mentioned that the establishment was on high alert for spies and impostors, Jod nearly chocked on the beverage, smacking his lips immediately afterward. During the check-in, he placed the glass on the front desk, leaving it behind after successfully bribing the hotelier to register him under a false name.[1]
Behind the scenes
The drink first appeared in the fifth episode of the live-action television series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, "You Have a Lot to Learn About Pirates,"[1] which aired on December 24, 2024.[7]

- ↑ Star Wars: Timelines dates the events of "Chapter 1: The Mandalorian" of The Mandalorian Season One to 9 ABY. In addition,
"A Certain Point of View" — Star Wars Insider 228 also dates "Part Seven: Dreams and Madness" to nine years after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, which corresponds to 9 ABY per Timelines. "Part Seven: Dreams and Madness" takes place after the conflict on Mandalore, which is the main event depicted in "Chapter 23: The Spies" and "Chapter 24: The Return," the final two episodes of The Mandalorian Season Three. Therefore, Seasons One through Three of Star Wars: The Mandalorian must all be set in 9 ABY as well.
SWCA 2022: 20 Highlights from Lucasfilm's Studio Showcase on StarWars.com (backup link) states that Star Wars: Skeleton Crew takes place in the same timeframe as Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Star Wars: Ahsoka—the latter of which can also be dated to 9 ABY following the reasoning here. As such, Skeleton Crew must take place around 9 ABY as well.
