Unidentified Elomin child

The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

An Elomin child lived on the astronomical object Vianax during the High Republic Era. After a skirmish there in 229 BBY, they were among a group of children who watched the Wookiee Jedi Master Kelnacca help with repairs. Impressed with Kelnacca's strength and size, the Elomin spoke about him with his Padawan, Yarzion Vell.

Biography

An Elomin child lived on the astronomical object Vianax during the High Republic Era.^[1] In 229 BBY,^[2] when Vianax was in the Nihil pirates' Occlusion Zone^[1] region of space,^[3] the Wookiee Jedi Master Kelnacca and his Padawan, Yarzion Vell, fought the Nihil there. After the skirmish ended, while Kelnacca and Vell were helping with repairs to damaged buildings, the Elomin was one of three children who watched them. The Elomin commented on Kelnacca's strength and size and then asked Vell if he was his teacher, which Vell confirmed. One of the children then told him that they had never seen a Wookiee before, especially not one who could use the Force.^[1]

After a human child discussed Kelnacca's silence with Vell, the Elomin asked what Vell's tattoos were, and the human asked about their meaning. In response to the questions, Vell lied and said they had no meaning, although they were actually the name of his previous Master, Lulad, written in runes. The Elomin attempted to question Vell further, but the Padawan stated he had to go back to his repair work.^[1] Around 149 BBY,^[4] as Vell was dying, he mentioned the Elomin child while telling his own Padawan, Ordea, about his training under Kelnacca.^[1]

Personality and traits

The Elomin had pale skin and blue eyes. They were impressed by Kelnacca's use of telekinesis, but quickly lost interest and wanted to know about Vell's tattoos instead.^[1]

Equipment

The child wore a blue shirt and brown pants and had white wrappings around their arms.^[1]

The Elomin child appeared in a flashback in the one-shot comic The Acolyte - Kelnacca 1, written by Cavan Scott, illustrated by Marika Cresta,^[1] and published by Marvel Comics on September 4, 2024.^[5]
