- "Pre-Carvian. Third millennium."
"It's a good guess."
"The stone is Carvian, but it's older, isn't it?"
"We think it's Lost Empire." - ―Strang and Luthen Rael discuss Luthen's ring
The third millennium was a period of time predating the Carvian period. During an art exhibition hosted by the banker Davo Sculdun on[1] the planet[2] Coruscant[1] in 3 BBY,[3] the alien Strang guessed that a ring belonging to antique peddler Luthen Rael had its origins in the third millennium. Rael remarked that it was a good guess, and clarified that he believed the ring originated from the Lost Empire period.[1]
Behind the scenes
The third millennium was mentioned in "What a Festive Evening," the sixth episode of the Disney+ series Andor's second season,[1] which premiered on April 29, 2025.[4]
