- "Pre-Carvian. Third millennium."
"It's a good guess."
"The stone is Carvian, but it's older, isn't it?"
"We think it's Lost Empire." - ―Strang and Luthen Rael discuss Luthen's ring
A ring was owned by the revolutionary Luthen Rael by 4 BBY. He wore the ring on several occasions and speculated it to originate from the Lost Empire period of time. He discussed its origins with the alien Strang and another partygoer during an art exhibition hosted by the banker Davo Sculdun in 3 BBY.
Description
The ring had a golden band into which a square, bluish-green stone was embedded.[1]
History
- "My word, Luthen. And you wear it out?"
"I thought one of you thieves might make me an offer."
"It takes one to know one, Luthen." - ―Cleave and Luthen Rael discuss Luthen's ring
The antique dealer and revolutionary Luthen Rael speculated that the ring was from the Lost Empire period of time, though the alien Strang noted that the stone in the ring appeared to be from the younger Carvian period—though they also posited that the entire ring could have been pre-Carvian, estimating an origin in the third millennium.[1]
During an art exhibition hosted by the banker Davo Sculdun on Coruscant[1] in 3 BBY,[2] Rael showed the ring off to Strang and another partygoer, where they speculated over and discussed its possible origins. Upon revealing its suspected Lost Empire origin, a partygoer expressed surprise that Rael wore it out and about.[1]
