- "Welcome, everyone, to the Tenoo Grand Tour! The racers are lined up. We're almost ready to race!"
- ―A Toong announcer
The Tenoo Grand Tour was a monopod race that took place on the Outer Rim planet Tenoo[2] in 232 BBY.[1] It was the first introduction of the sport on Tenoo and was organized by the Monopod Circuit. The race consisted of five monopod teams, four of which were a sentient being paired with an engineering droid. The fifth team consisted of the Pantoran Wiston Freng and the human child Nash Durango, who filled in for Freng's missing engineering droid JK-46. Despite the disadvantage of not having a droid engineer, Freng and Durango's collaboration and quick thinking allowed the pair to overcome the other racers' treachery and win the race.[2]
The Tenoo Grand Tour was attended by various Tenoo locals, including Jedi Initiates and Nash Durango's mothers. Commentary for the race was provided by a Toong. The race incorporated the Tenoo Tunnel and even the dense canopy of Tenoo trees as race surfaces. When the Dug racer Jaj Omie purposefully took out Freng's pit droids, Nash's droid RJ-83 and her Jedi friends Kai Brightstar, Lys Solay, and Nubs took over as their pit crew.[2]
