Jaj Omie

Jaj Omie was a Dug monopod racer during the High Republic Era. He primarily spoke Huttese. When the Monopod Circuit first came to the Outer Rim planet Tenoo for the Tenoo Grand Tour, Omie engaged in multiple unscrupulous strategies to sabotage his Pantoran rival, Wiston Freng. Omie deactivated and stashed Freng's engineering droid JK-46, sped through Pit Row to damage Freng's pit droids, and slung mud into Freng's monopod's engine intake. Omie had a significant lead on Freng during the third lap of the race, but after Freng and his substitute engineer Nash Durango switched seats to repair a damaged fin, the human child dodged a vicious lateral ram from Omie, causing the Dug to crash into the walls of the track in the final stretch, taking him out of the race.^[1]
