Tarn was an astronomical object that was the homeworld to the Tarnab,[2] a sentient[3] species that was represented by Senator Mot-Not Rab during the final decades of the Galactic Republic.[2] It was located in the Tarn system in the Doldur sector of the Mid Rim Territories, in grid square P-15 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] At some point, the species and its homeworld were mentioned in a entry of an artist's journal dedicated to the Tarnab.[2] No earlier than 34 ABY,[4] the journal was eventually reinstated, expanded, and put on view at the Graf Archive.[2]

Tarn was mentioned in the 2018 reference book Star Wars: Alien Archive written Natalie Clubb and Katrina Pallant.[2]
