A standard-class starport,[3] or standard class starport,[4][2] was a type of starport.[1]
Description
The standard-class starport had a fully staffed and equipped control tower.[1] This type of port offered refueling and resupply services.[5] It had a small maintenance facility capable of minor repairs and modifications. These services could cost up to double the normal price and take more than twice as long to accomplish.[1] The quality of the work often varied from mediocre to very good.[2]
The planet Lazerian IV was the site of numerous Industrial Starports. Each Industrial Starport consisted of a standard-class starport, huge raw material storage facilities, several large factories, warehouses, apartments for the working staff, administrative offices, and a garrison of twenty-four troopers.[6]

Behind the scenes
The standard-class starport was created by Mark Rein-Hagen and Stewart Wieck for Galaxy Guide 6: Tramp Freighters, a roleplaying sourcebook published in 1990 by West End Games for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[1]
