Sour tea was a type of tea found on the planet Tiikae that was potable by Pantorans and Soikans.[1] In 382 BBY,[2] while at a tavern on Tiikae, the Soikan Jedi Master Zallah Macri was passed a mug of a local sour tea by the human Jedi Knight Azlin Rell, and took a sip of the beverage after thanking him. As Macri informed her Padawan, the Pantoran Kevmo Zink, of the details of the two's upcoming mission, Zink nearly knocked over his mug of tea. In response, the Soikan took a sip of her drink and raised an eyebrow at him. Shortly after, the Pantoran raised his mug in a salute.[1]

Sour tea appeared in the 2022 young-adult novel The High Republic: Path of Deceit, written by Justina Ireland and Tessa Gratton as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase II.[3]
