Secundus Ando was a cavernous planet[2] in the Secundus Ando system in the Lambda sector of the Mid Rim[1] that was the homeworld of the Harch species,[2] which included Admiral Trench, who served the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars.[3] The planet was covered with large factory cities, with some preserved arboreal areas reserved for the Harch ruling nests. The primary language of Secundus Ando was Harchic, and second and third were Aqualish and Basic, respectively.[2]

Secundus Ando had a large Aqualish influence due to their proximity, and the Harch often sided with the Spiverelda, the totalitarian government of the Lambda sector. This ultimately led to their dislike of the Galactic Republic, when the Republic sided with the Andoan Free Colonies in the Andoan Wars, leading to conflict with the Harch.[2]

Behind the scenes

Secundus Ando was first mentioned in the Star Wars Legends reference book Star Wars: The Clone Wars Character Encyclopedia, which was written by Jason Fry and released in 2010. The name was confirmed to be canon in the reference book Ultimate Star Wars, which was released in 2015.
