The Andoan Free Colonies were a collection of worlds within the Lambda sector. Most of the worlds remained loyal to the Galactic Republic when the rest of the sector defected to the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Andoan Free Colonies were first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in Rise of the Separatists, a 2019 supplement to Fantasy Flight Games' series of Star Wars roleplaying products.[1] They were first mentioned in the Star Wars Legends continuity's HoloNet News article Andoan Free Colonies Criticize Aqualish published within HoloNet News Vol. 531 49 in 2002.[2]
