Runai Sculdun was a human female who was married to Davo Sculdun.[1] In 5 BBY[4] she visited Senator Mon Mothma's residence on Coruscant alongside Davo and his son Stekan Sculdun,[1] as Davo wished for Stekan to be introduced to Leida Mothma.[5]
Runai was present on Chandrila at the wedding of Stekan and Leida in 4 BBY. She was central to the Chandrilan wedding ceremony and the traditional elements of the event. After the ceremony and during the ensuing dancing, the delighted Runai offered Mon Mothma drinks and encouraged her to join the celebrations.[6]
In 3 BBY, Davo and Runai hosted a soirée on Coruscant. Runai would accompany Perrin Fertha, Mon Mothma's husband, in rounding up the handful of people chosen to receive a tour of Sculdun's personal gallery. During the tour, Runai was shocked when Director Orson Krennic revealed that the Carmeenian people skinned others alive.[7]
In 1 BBY, a full year after Mon's public denunciation of Emperor Palpatine, Runai rode in an limospeeder with Perrin.[8]
