The Sculdun family[3] was a family from the Core Worlds planet Chandrila. Davo Sculdun married Runai Sculdun and became the father of Stekan Sculdun. Senator Mon Mothma asked Davo Sculdun for a loan so Davo decided to travel to Coruscant to meet her.[4] At the Chandrilan Embassy on Coruscant, Sculdun offered Mothma a loan in exchange for a chance to introduce his son, Stekan, to the senator's daughter, Leida Mothma. Mothma said no but Sculdun was convinced that she was thinking the offer over.[1] Mothma eventually would agree to Sculdun's demands, and she introduced her daughter to his son.[2]
