A root-worm wrap was a human-edible dish served at the eatery Mam Possy's on the planet Batuu.[1] In 382 BBY,[2] the pilot Sky Graf expressed their wish to go to Mam Possy's with Jedi Padawan Rooper Nitani to get a root-worm wrap—which their friend Dass Leffbruk had recommended—so that they could explain to Nitani why the latter should join Graf's crew for the Hyperspace Chase contest.[1]
Eventually, Nitani opted to join the pair, who were using the Hyperspace Chase as an excuse to search for the hard-to-reach world of Planet X. After the group returned to Batuu, they visited Mam Possy's and enjoyed a lunch of root-worm wraps at a table in Black Spire Outpost. Leffbruk excitedly talked to his friends with his mouth full, mumbling about his future plans while consuming the dish.[1]
Behind the scenes
The root-worm wrap appeared in Quest for Planet X, a junior novel written by Tessa Gratton and published in 2023 as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia campaign's[1] Phase II.[3]
