Reya Nell was a human who worked as an herbalist in Point Ueda, the capital city of the planet Ueda, during the High Republic Era. She specialized in extracting salves from Ueda conifer pines and sap and her secret ingredients helped her to edge out the competition.[1] In 132 BBY,[2] she stood beside[3] the pilot Trowee Astur[1] at a stall just inside the gate to Ueda Point as the Sith assassin Mae-ho Aniseya entered the city.[3]
Nell had dark skin, brown eyes, and black hair that she wore in a braid with two decorative coastal glitter-shells above the left brow. She wore[1] a brown duster[3] over a ghoat-wool coat that faded from gray down to blue with a brown shirt, brown striated boots, gray pants, and a brown belt with a hanging holster for her black blaster pistol. Nell also had green coloring on the skin around her eyes.[1]
Behind the scenes
Reya Nell first appeared in "Lost / Found,"[3] the first episode of the live-action television series Star Wars: The Acolyte, which aired on Disney+ on June 4, 2024.[4] Prior to the release of the episode, Nell was revealed in a trailer exclusively shown at Celebration Europe[5] during the Lucasfilm Studio Showcase on April 7, 2023.[6] The Ueda gate scene was shot at Shinfield Studios,[7] England.[8] Nell was first identified in the 2025 reference book Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1]
