Mae's quest[6] was a campaign carried out by the Sith acolyte[4] and assassin[7] Mae-ho ("Mae") Aniseya during the High Republic Era where she targeted four Jedi—Jedi Masters Sol, Torbin, Indara, and Kelnacca—who had been stationed on[4] her homeworld[1] of Brendok during a great fire. The quest would bring Mae into conflict with her sister Verosha ("Osha") Aniseya, whom Mae had assumed to be dead.[4]
The revelation that her sister was alive ate at Mae's devotion to her quest and ultimately resulted in her abandoning the campaign during her mission to Khofar, intending to instead reunite with her long lost sibling and surrender herself to the Jedi Order. Just as his secrecy was threatened by Mae's choice, however, Mae's master emerged and attacked a Jedi scout party under Sol.[5]
