Glitter-shells were a type of pale and round coastal sea shell. The herbalist Reya Nell wore a pair of decorative glitter-shells in her hair above her left brow while in Point Ueda, capital city of the planet Ueda,[1] in 132 BBY.[2]
Behind the scenes
Glitter-shells were mentioned in the 2025 reference book Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo. The book shows the shells as part of the costume worn by Reya Nell[1] in "Lost / Found,"[3] the first episode of the live-action television series Star Wars: The Acolyte, which aired on Disney+ on June 4, 2024.[4] However, the shells are not visible in the episode itself.[3]
