Peg Shar I was an industrial world[3] in the Peg Shar system of the Halla sector in the Mid Rim Territories[1] and the Slice.[2] It fell within grid square R-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] It was represented by a senator in the Senate of the Galactic Republic[3] by 32 BBY. That year,[4] the senator for the world had an office in a lower level of the Galactic Senate Building on the Republic capital, Coruscant.[3]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, Peg Shar I was mentioned in the 2016 reference book Star Wars: Complete Locations. It was part of material reprinted[3] from the 2000 reference book Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Episode I, which was written by Kristin Lund and marked the first mention of the world in the Star Wars Legends continuity.[5]
