Peg Shar I was an industrial world that occupied the first orbital position[4] in the Peg Shar system. It was a part of the Halla sector[1] in the Kashyyyk Region,[3] within the Slice portion of[2] the Mid Rim.[1] The hyperlane known as the Lesser Lantillian Route linked it to Pusat Station and the Saari Ha system.[2]
By 32 BBY,[5] a senator represented Peg Shar I in the Senate of the Galactic Republic. In the Senate Building on Coruscant, the capital world of the Republic, the senator had an office on a level below the offices used by Neimoidian and Quarren senatorial delegations.[4]
Behind the scenes
Peg Shar I was introduced in the 2000 reference book Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Episode I by Kristin Lund.[6] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Peg Shar system, and therefore Peg Shar I, in grid square R-8.[2]
