Pasaana's moon was the bright white[3] single natural satellite of Pasaana, a planet in the Middian system of the Ombakond sector. The planet was a part of the Expansion Region[1] and the Slice and was situated in grid square O-13 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[2] In 21 ABY,[4] the former Rebel Alliance general Lando Calrissian observed the moon rise surrounded by a faint violet halo as he sat on a flat rock and looked out at a plain on the opposite side of Pasaana's Forbidden Valley.[3]
Behind the scenes
Pasaana's moon was first mentioned, albeit unidentified, in the 2019 reference book Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary, written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1] The moon later appeared, and was also identified, in the 2022 novel Shadow of the Sith, written by Adam Christopher.[3]
