The Opatajji system was located in the Alsaka sector of the Core Worlds[1] and the Interior.[2] The system was situated in grid square L-9 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Opatajji system was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[3] In Star Wars Legends it was first mentioned in the reference book The Essential Atlas in 2009 by its authors Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace.[4]
