The Opatajji system was a part of the Alsaka sector of the Core Worlds.[1] It shared its name with the title of the Duke of Opatajji as well as the last name of Neera Opatajji-Hirken, who was a daughter of the Duke of Opatajji by the time of the reign of the Galactic Empire.[3]

Behind the scenes

The Opatajji system was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square L-9.[2]
