Ogem was a world[5] located in the D'Aelgoth sector of the Mid Rim Territories[1] within the Western Reaches.[2]
The junk dealer Unkar Plutt sometimes marketed his salvage to spacers from Ogem.[5] The occupants of Niima Outpost claimed that a scavenger, Miggs McKane, managed to slice into the datacore of a crashed Imperial Star Destroyer and found a complete order of battle. He then sold his find to an offworlder and used the profits to retire to Ogem.[6]
Behind the scenes
Star Wars: The Force Awakens: The Visual Dictionary originally placed Ogem near the desert planet Jakku,[7] which is at grid square I-13.[3]
