- "I am from Muqular. What you call tibanna is essential to our life process."
"Muqular? Wow. That's down the Western Reaches, right? I haven't been down there in, oh, a long time now." - ―A Muqularan and Lando Calrissian
Muqular was the homeworld of the tibanna gas–breathing Muqularan species.[3] It was located in the Muqular system within the Montitian Grant sector of the Expansion Region[1] and the Interior,[2] situated in grid square J-15 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] The former New Republic general Lando Calrissian believed that it was situated down the Western Reaches and had visited it sometime before[3] 21 ABY,[4] which he mentioned while talking with a Muqularan from Muqular.[3]
Behind the scenes
Muqular was mentioned in Shadow of the Sith, a 2022 novel by Adam Christopher.[3]
