- "When I was a little girl… pirates captured me. They sold me to a Hutt clan. I… worked as a slave for years until I finally escaped."
- ―Nenavakasa Nalor, to Neeku Vozo
Kintan was a planet[5] located in the Kintan system within Hutt Space in grid square S-9 on the Standard Galactic Grid,[2] that was the homeworld of the Nikto species, which was divided into at least three subspecies: the green-skinned Nikto known as Kadas'sa'Nikto,[5] the lavender-skinned Esral'sa'Nikto,[9] and the red-skinned Kajain'sa'Nikto.[5] It was conquered by the Hutt Cartel, which was controlled by the Hutts from the neighboring world of Nal Hutta, who turned the Nikto into slaves or vassals.[7] Klaatu, a male Kadas'sa'Nikto gambler who worked as a henchman for the crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure, was from this world.[10] Creatures known as Kintan striders, whose appearance was used as a piece in the game dejarik, were from this world.[3][11] Kintan was the homeworld of the Kintan Striders Gang.[12]
The Nikto Nenavakasa Nalor[8] hailed from Kintan and[12] years before[8] 34 ABY,[13] was enslaved by pirates. The pirates later sold Nalor to a Hutt clan, who enslaved her for years until the Nikto[8] bravely[6] escaped from the clan and eventually left her homeworld.[8]
In 34 ABY,[13] Nalor was hired by the First Order to sabotage the Colossus refueling station. In order to board the station, Nalor sent out a distress signal from her starship, claiming the First Order had attacked her. When two residents of the station—Kazuda Xiono and Synara San—investigated the signal, the Nikto lied to them by informing them she had barely escaped from her world after the attack, which had resulted in damage to her ship. Afterward, she accompanied the two back to the Colossus. While aboard the station, Nalor deceived the Colossus resident Neeku Vozo into helping her sabotage the station. As the two worked together, she disclosed to him about her enslavement as a child. Once San and Xiono uncovered her deception, Nalor fled the Colossus, though not before informing Vozo she had not lied to him about her childhood.[8]
