A probe droid of the Viper probe droid model was a member of the Galactic Empire.[2] Between 14 BBY and 9 BBY,[6] the probe droid undertook a mission to the astronomical object Gerrigon with the Fifth Brother inquisitor. The droid explained the history of Gerrigon before they were attacked by the Jedi Knight, Tensu Run.[2]

Behind the scenes

The probe droid appeared in the second issue of the 2024 comic series, Star Wars: Inquisitors. The comic was written by Rodney Barnes, illustrated by Ramon Rosanas,[2] and published by Marvel Comics on August 7, 2024.[7]
