The Imperial Bureau of Standards maintained an office in a skyscraper part of Imperial City on the planet Coruscant. It housed thousands of employees for the Departments of Fuel Purity, Redundancy, Verification and Weights and Gauges as well as a Data Center. Flob worked as a supervisor in this office[1] in 5 BBY[2] and was the one who hired Syril Karn following his uncle Harlo's intervention.[1]
