Verification was a sector in the Imperial Bureau of Standards of the Galactic Empire.[1] The corporate functionary[2] Flob claimed, while interviewing the potential employee Syril Karn at the bureau's office on the planet Coruscant[1] in 5 BBY,[3] that although Verification and the Redundancy sector did not look as much of a vibrant arena as the Weights and Gauges sector from the outside, any lifetime employee of the bureau would agree that the institution had no small roles.[1]
