The Ikon system was a star system located in the Majoor sector of the Expansion Region[1] and Trailing Sectors.[2] It was situated in grid square N-15 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Ikon system was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[3] The system originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in the first issue of the Star Wars: River of Chaos comic book series, which was written by Louise Simonson, illustrated by June Brigman, and published by Dark Horse Comics[4] on June 6, 1995.[5] It was then identified for the first time in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, which was written by Daniel Wallace and Fry.[6]
