- "Well, hopefully she won't hold a grudge for too long. Because there's a new restaurant near the Senate that's supposed to have Hyellian musical noodles, and I think she'd like that."
- ―Padmé Amidala, to Gregar Typho, regarding Dormé
Hyellian musical noodles were a type of noodle consumable by humans[1] that originated from the Hyell system[1][2] in the Mid Rim Territories.[3] Around 22 BBY,[4] a restaurant opened near the Galactic Senate Building on the planet Coruscant and served the noodles.[1]
In 22 BBY,[4] Senator Padmé Amidala suggested to her Head of Security, Captain Gregar Typho, that he and her handmaiden Dormé visit the restaurant. Amidala pointed out that Dormé would likely enjoy the excursion to acquire Hyellian musical noodles and not hold a grudge against him for their last dining experience going awry.[1]
Behind the scenes
Hyellian musical noodles were mentioned in Queen's Hope,[1] a 2022 young-adult novel written by E. K. Johnston[5] as the third installment of Star Wars: Queen's Series.[1]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas and a number of maps in the current Star Wars canon (see a list here), stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for Hyellian musical noodles in relation to Hyell system.
