Star Wars: Queen's Series[5] is the canon young-adult series written by E. K. Johnston which focuses on the character Padmé Amidala.[1]
The first novel, Queen's Shadow, was published on March 5th 2019 and focuses on Padmé Amidala six years prior to the events of Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, showing her adapting to her new role as senator.[2] The prequel novel, Queen's Peril, was published on June 2nd 2020, showing Amidala during her early days as queen of Naboo and during the events of Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace.[6] The final installment in the trilogy, Queen's Hope was published on April 5th 2022 and takes place in between Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, showing Amidala during the early days of the Clone Wars and her marriage to Anakin Skywalker.[3]
