Biography
Guanlos Mez was a Clarodian male who worked as a miner on the planet Ueda during the High Republic Era. He helped jointly supervise an old family deep-mantle mining operation in the Eastern Wilderness with his older sibling, Tianris Mez.[1] By 132 BBY,[2] Tianris was looking to retire, but he did not think Guanlos was capable of handling the responsibility it would leave him and so often asked for advice and wisdom from Jedi Master Indara, with whom Guanlos was also acquainted.[1]

In 132 BBY,[2] the two visited[3] the Lomi Usqi Noodle Shop in Point Ueda, the capital city of Ueda.[1] When the Sith assassin Mae-ho Aniseya arrived at the establishment seeking Indara, Tiarnris was sat at a table with Indara and several[3] other locals,[1] while Guanlos stood at the bar with a pair of humans. The younger brother then moved elsewhere before Aniseya confronted Indara and attacked her dining companions,[3] knocking out Tianris[4] and eventually killing the Jedi.[3]
Personality and traits
Guanlos Mez enjoyed crude jokes and found it novel that Indara also engaged in colorful banter. His sibling did not believe he was ready for the responsibility of managing their mining operation on his own. Guanlos had black eyes and skin that was shades of green, purple, red, and tan.[1]
Equipment
While at the noodle shop, Guanlos wore brown pants, a brown shirt, a brown belt, and a gray scarf and wrist wraps under a brown dust-repelling shroud designed for mine work.[1]
Behind the scenes
Guanlos Mez first appeared in "Lost / Found,"[3] the first episode of the live-action television series Star Wars: The Acolyte, which aired on Disney+ on June 4, 2024.[5] The scenes in the shop were filmed at Shinfield Studios,[6] England.[7] He was first identified in the 2025 reference book Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1]
