The Ghost Nebula sector was a sector located in the Expansion Region of the galaxy. It contained the Ghost Nebula and the Umbara system,[1] which contained the planet Umbara, homeworld of the Umbaran species.[8] Despite the occluding space cloud isolating them from the rest of the galaxy,[4] the Umbarans were able to engineer advanced energy weaponry and anti-gravity systems that exceeded galactic standards.[9]
