Gergilla

Gergillas were a semi-sentient species that lived on the planet Vadran.^[1]

Biology and appearance

Gergillas were large, bulky creatures with purple-brown skin with a tan underbelly. They had large, oval shaped heads with purple tongues and several sharp teeth^[2] and their eye color varied from black to purple.^[1] They had large, bulky arms and two fingers and one thumb on each hand and large legs with three toes on each foot. They also had a short, stumpy tail.^[2]

Behavior

Gergillas were friendly creatures, although they were capable of attacking enemies with immense strength. They were intelligent enough to understand directions and maps. Gergillas could walk on their legs or on their knuckles and could also travel at high speeds while running on them. They could make a very loud "moo" sound.^[1]

Gergillas in the galaxy

At some point, the droids SF-R3 and CAM of the Galactic Society of Creature Enthusiasts crashed their ship onto the planet Vadran where they were helped by a Gergilla.^[1]

Another notable Gergilla was Ayuu, the pet/partner of the treasure hunter Lens Kamo.^[2] By 34 ABY,^[3] a drink named after this species, Gergilla Grog, was served at Seezelslak's Cantina at Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu.^[2]
